Re: Wrong SIC code in Annual Accounts

I don't think it should cause any problems as SIC code can be updated at any time online in matter of 3 minutes via submitting company return (basically confirming company's and officers' details) online. If you are warring too much about it I would ask the accountant to change it as soon as possibl...

Re: sudden Home Office extending delays by 3-6 months

You can inquire through the general inquire line, but they will not tell you how long it will take to make a decision on your application. In fact they will not tell you anything there except the same info you have in your letter. And actually in the letter they are asking not to make inquires.... A...

Re: Visa requirements before BC application

No, the applicant is a non-EU citizen. The applicant was refused and went for appeals, which took over a year. So at the time of the appeals the applicant did not hold any visa, but was covered by 3C section. Effectively the applicant was not in breach of Immigration rules during the last 5 years, b...

Visa requirements before BC application

Dear all, is it necessary to have an actual valid visa for 5 years before applying for BC? Would the coverage by 3C & 3D while the application was under consideration and than appeal process in progress be sufficient? The applicant was legally all the time in the UK. The applicant held an ILR for mo...

Court and Fine for riding a bus without ticket

Hi to all. My friend is about to apply for BC. She was traveling without the ticket by bus in 2003-2004 (she does not remember exactly). Was stopped by inspector and taken her details. After approximately 9 months received a letter from the court saying that she had to pay a fine. Paid in full strai...

Re: Need help urgent

I do not see how you husband can switch inside the country for this type of visa https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-entrepreneur/switch-to-this-visa. Go for UT. It is not much you can do to be honest. You only live her for 5 years which is according to Immigration rules is not a significant time to create so...

Re: maintenance funds uk or out side pls help

Your money can be anywhere in the world. In the letter from the bank it should be mentioned that the bank is regulated by financial authority of the country of its operation and that the money is transferable to the UK. Good luck.

Re: proof of address for Tier1 spouse for ILR application

Explain in the cover letter why you had separate addressees. You have a child together and this is a proof of genuine relationship. Pictures together, witness statements from friends etc. Do not lie and do not make up stories. You should be fine.

Re: Odd question

The answer is NO, but make sure in the bank letter it says that money can be transferred in to UK and that bank is regulated by financial authority of the country of its operation. Maintenance requirement is not applicable to Investor's dependents. in the Immigration Rules it says - Tier 1 family me...

Re: biometric detail policy

I think it should be a very good reason for not submitting the biometrics. I would say that your friend might get himself in trouble trying to play with fire. It is better to sort everything out before his letter expires.

Re: help me plz

You may apply for a family visitor visa. You might get a visa within 4-6 weeks. I think they do not like this type of route for spouses as some of them tend to switch inside the country outside the Immigration rules once they arrive. You won't be able to stay here for longer than 6 months per year, ...

Re: HELP CONFUSED ABOUT BRP

You probably in wrong section of the forum. Regarding your letter - it neither good or bad. Basically the good news is that they are not ignoring you. Some people do not receive their bimetrics letters for ages. The rest depends on how strong your case is. When they issue you a letter for biometrics...

Re: ILR holder to get married BC. Do I need to wait 1 year I

Thanks for your reply. I am resident in the UK for 12 years. Do we need to be married for 3 years before I will be eligible to apply for BC? Or can I apply as soon as my spouse will receive BC certificate even though we will be married for 1-2 months only at that time?

Re: Help me PLEASE I want apply ILR again under long residen

What happened between 2006 and 2007? Have you been in the UK? If not, it is not much you can do about it. If you were present in the UK appealing the decision than you were covered by 3c and 3d sections of the Immigration Act 1971 and you residence was here continuous and lawful. I am not sure if 14...

I do not think anyone can answer this question except immigration officer who will be dealing with your case. It all depends on his/her view and understanding of the situation. The more you explain in the cover letter the better it will be for your application. I think that any previous visa refusal...

Re: Tier 4 Sponsor - Bank account doesn't show their name

I am not sure, but here is what I would do if I was you. Check, if your father is a sole trader. In this case may be a letter from HMRC showing his business name corresponding to his actual name will be sufficient. If it is a limited company, in this case company's money and your father's money are ...

I am not sure regarding immigration rules, but from accounting point of view both - self employed person and company - are businesses. The difference is in the taxation and registration rules, and financial responsibility.

Re: Get married while passport in Home Office

He may ask HO to send a certified copy of his passport to the register office where he plans to get married. They will probably do it via e-mail. HO will be not in rush to do it so he needs to insist on it and it might take some time. Also it would be advisable to speak to register office first and ...

ILR holder to get married BC. Do I need to wait 1 year ILR?

Hi to all. I am an ILR holder since January 2014. We are planning to get married soon. My partner is PR holder and already applied for BC 1 month ago. I am not sure if my partner will be a BC by the time we get married. But if to say my partner becomes BC after we married but before January 2015, wi...
