BC application for spouse

Hi,

I got my Naturalisation certificate yesterday (T2G - ILR - BC)
I am filling application for my wife , should I treat this application as

1. Spouse married to British Citizen? Or
2. continue with usual route - T2G dependent - ILR - BC application after 12 months route?

Thanks

Re: Doubts in AN form

I have completed the application form. In the required documents section it is stated that: Proof of living in the UK for Mr XXXXXX for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen. Also mentioned: Bank statements or household bills are not suitable...

Re: Doubts in AN form

For the following question in AN form: 1. Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad? Should I answer yes and provide details of ILR and T2 extension application details? 2. One of my friend who is also a dentist is ready to give reference , is it acceptable as profes...

Doubts in AN form

Dear Members, I am filling AN form (5yr T2G + 12m route) for BC and have a doubt in following question: "Details of trips outside the UK" - Do I need to put in absence details for the last 12 months only or include the absence details provided in ILR form (5 year absence history?) Due to Covid19, I ...

MN1 form professional referee and applicant photo

Hi Members, I am filling MN1 form for my son and had a couple of queries: 1. Referee with professional qualification: Does this referee needs to be British Citizen or a person holding ILR will suffice? 2. Applicant Photo: due to covid shutdown how can I manage to get updated photo for the applicant?...

Re: ILR for dependents

If I apply under T2 PBS dependent route for their ILR, it should be fine right? Why wouldn't it be? It is the only route they can apply, regardless if COVID. I meant if I apply on time and get an appointment later due to delays at HO (covid/reduced workload etc). I take the answer as yes. Thanks.

ILR for dependents

Hi Moderators, I am in a fix before applying for ILR for my Dependent wife and child. I got my ILR in Feb'20. Before that I had T2 general visa from 03/2015 to 03/2018, extension granted in 03/2018 till Mar 2021. Dependents visa valid from 11/2015 to 03/2018 then extension granted in 03/2018 till Ma...

Re: will second job be an issue with BC?

Where did you hear that?? You are likely confusing the abused visa route and tax amendments for the now closed tier 1 general visa. Thank you CR001 very much. So is it safe to assume that if I pay my tax correctly, this would not be a ground for rejection? Correct. HO is fully aware of the processe...

will second job be an issue with BC?

Hi All, Due to unavoidable circumstances, I need to take up a second job while continuing in my first one. This would go on for 2-3 months. If I get self assessment done and pay due taxes, will it cause problems in BC application? I have read previously that HO considers tax corrections as tax avoid...

Re: ILR Absence days and soc min threshold

I am going to submit SET (0) form online today. Just wanted to double check on absence section of the form: 1. I have specified one of my out of uk absence as Paternity Leave as I went to be with my family the day after my child was born. Is this reason sufficient and acceptable? or should I term it...

Re: MN1 online form:5 year address history for 1.5 year baby

Q1. Just answer yes. It is not a deal breaker and ho is aware of things. Q2. No! Q3. Stating "Family friend" would be better. Q4. The professional referee should be someone engaged with the child, of any nationality, ie a health advisor, nurse, pharmacist, religious minister, etc Thanks CR001, I as...

Re: Set (O) online form confusion

This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started. To me personally this was confusing because if period of stay starts from 5th April then I would be too early to apply on mid Feb by not completing 5 years minus 28 days requirement. But I have go...

I got a doubt because of the following statement just below the question: "This is the date you entered ...
