Passport validity for re-entry to UK - URGENT

hi all, my and wife are on HSMP with leave to remain until Jun 2010. her passport is expiring March 2008 . we are travelling to India next week and will be back first week of Feb 2008 . Will this be a problem? :? I looked at indian embassy website and they take minimum of 5 days for passport renewal...

i did not send my intial approval as it is not a must and not listed in the things to submit on the FLR(IED) form. they ask your the HSMP reference number and based on that they can verifiy the EC on your passport and all, so they do not require the original hsmp approval letter. that said, u should...

Keshav, Definitely give the Home Office a call and see if they would be able to inform you over the phone or at least send you a copy of the letter. At least that way you would be able to apply for EC. -alisondc it would be difficult to 'successfully' apply for EC without the original supporting do...

i think the guidance note says that your 'past eranings' should be in the 'country of permanent residence' which means you may not be able to claim money earned in a UK as a holiday maker (which is temp residence).

dude, u r getting confused unnecessarily. most ppl applying for hsmp will have qualifications from unis/colleges out of UK.

basically, do you want to work in Commerce (accounts), show your Bachelor' and Master's Certs. the certs ar the evidence of your qualification.
