Re: Employer Letter for Schengen Visa

AFAIK, getting one employment letter would suffice. You can submit the marriage certificate for your spouse. Authorities in Switzerland may require the marriage certificate to be attested so you may want o check this with VFS or the Swiss embassy.

Re: Tier2 ICT to Tier2 ICT and Tier 2 Gen

Time spent on T2ICT is not at all related to duration of T2G. A new 5 year clock will start when you change to T2G. the max duration of T2G and T2ICT is 5 years 14 days. not sure from where you caught the 6 years bit?

Re: Tier2 ICT to Tier2 ICT and Tier 2 Gen

1. The rules changed on 6th April 2011. As per new rules individuals who entered the UK under T2ICT will no longer be eligible for ILR. The actual purpose of T2ICT is to come to the UK share or gain knowledge with the workforce already in the UK and then leave the country. 2. Because you entered the...

The United Kingdom consists of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. So since you have a UK Tier 2 general visa i would assume one is allowed to work.

Don’t get me wrong mate but if I were you I would have researched such questions before landing in the UK rather than after living here for a year but again you are not too late. Sadly not many individuals who are sent overseas from India take an effort to read through the visa specifics before trav...

Re: WHICH Country/Embassy to apply for Schengen Visa?

3 and 6 days are not too long in the first place. I would personally prefer french embassy as i have done this in the past with no problems. If you don't want to risk it then better speak / email to VFS and find out what they say.

are you flying to all destinations ??

Re: Tier 2 ICT long term to Tier 2 Gen

Sorry but you won't be able to switch to T2G within the UK. You will have to go to your home country (or outside UK) and serve a 12 month cooling off period before applying for T2G. Reason: Individuals who entered the UK under Tier 2 (ICT) on or after 6 April 2011, or those who entered before then b...

Re: Tier 2 ICT long term to Tier 2 Gen

Individuals can switch into Tier 2 (General) from Tier 2 (ICT) if they entered the UK before 6 April 2011, providing they have not made an application for entry clearance (i.e from abroad) since then and providing they are changing sponsors. Individuals who entered the UK under Tier 2 (ICT) on or af...
