Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

I haven't seen any rule that says you can't use the same referee for BC and P.A. so you should be fine. I also think that GPs are accepted, they are people of professional standing and registered with a professional body, so they should be accepted. I submitted my application on the 3rd and got a no...

A passport is just an option, Troca; you don't need it, so you can apply whenever you like.

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

I know it's not the end of the world haha I was just wondering if that could be a problem, because it's read by a computer or it will be ok, because I wrote it clearly on a separate paper; I was wondering if anyone has had a similar case... My humble advice, take a chill pill mate. Don't worry about...

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Hi Tronca how long are you on holidays for? I'm not sure how long you have to call for the interview after the letter arrives; if I were you, I'd apply for the passport, after the holidays, that's what I'm doing. But let's see what other people say. Regards D Hi. I go to holidays in February. And my ...

Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Thanks Amber, Hopefully, they won't lose my documents or get my post code wrong as some other applicants state above. I'll try to submit it on Friday or Saturday; good news if it's taken less time now :) Sounds about right, but usually around half the time at the moment. Yes the extra £3 will return...

Thanks Derivaz, I think the IPS service is excellent. The interview was informal, and the lady was very chatty ( wanting to know more than they should though) lol. However, am glad the journey came to an end. Getting a passport should be just a formality, it's a right you have as a citizen unless y...

It's likely due to the new B1 requirement being introduced and an expected 'rush'. If they've received the application (I assume you've tracked this) then just be patient, if there is a problem with payment details, they will contact you. They probably got loads of applications before the 28th of O...
