I received an update from my consultant that has submited my application. She is quoting the HO. She says: "We have been told that it is likely that your case will be considered in around 7 weeks time and we were informed that there is currently a 13 week backlog due to the fee increase in April." M...

Hi Loni, I think I have probably had the same problems as you. I have recently applied again and also worked through a limited company. I have gone though an agency and they tell me they have got approvals for clients working through limited companies provided the income is declared (hence my second...

Hi jazbaati99

When you say that a decision was made, did they say wether it was approved or declined, or just that a decision had been made.

Its great to see that they are still achieving good rates of turnaround for some of the applications.

Regards,

Hi there, I sent an application in on the 26th of April, and my credit card was debited on the 29th. I expect it will be another couple of weeks before I get a reference number, and just hope that my application fits within the 50% of applications being processed in 4 weeks. I'm not sure if the UK h...

Well I'm replying to my own post... I would really appreciate any feedback from my original question. - Further to the info from the original post, my first lot of experience that I wish to claim for was in New Zealand for a bank. I then spent 2 years in the UK, with about 14 months working in Londo...

Work Experience Question - Updated

I have 4+ years of Graduate experience, but all I need is 2 years for points, and it was my first 2 years that is easier to prove as degree level. If I submit an application claiming points from work 4 years ago, and no points from the most recent work (last 2 years), should I expect the HO to grant...

Thanks Bani.

I have a return ticket which takes me back to Heathrow. Do I need a visa to get back into the UK and then transfer from Heathrow to Dublin if I have a visa for Republic of Ireland?

Brad.

New Zealander wants to re-apply from Ireland

Unfortunately I don't have a ref number as it was done through an agency and I don't have such details. But from memory it was actually submitted in the last week of November, and declined 13th of January. I will be appealing / resubmitting once my earnings are declared in April. I don't think there...

New Zealander wants to re-apply from Ireland

Hi all, I am a new member after recently discovering this excellent resource. I applied for the HSMP visa in December 04 but was refused in Jan 05 due to my income being mainly from dividends (self employed) and the earnings are not declared until the end of the financial year (April 05). Because of...
