Re: Settlement Visa New Delhi Waiting Time

Generally for spouse Visa applications, the normal wait for a straight forward case and first application is approximate 3 months +/- this is the time period roughly an applicant can be expected to wait. There is no hard and fast rule, can sometimes take longer slightly and sometimes less. But this ...

Re: Urgent: Pls HELP on Spouse Settlement Questions

Screenshots and records of the correspondence by social media will be ok. However do you have other official documents such as telephone bill /mobile bill showing the calls to your spouse. This will back up the screenshot contact evidence. As for your council registration document, you need to clari...

Re: Visa Refused due to english language requirement

Doing an appeal will take some time, with no guarantees the decision will be overturned.

if all other points have been met and just the English test, get that done and a new application.

Ultimatly its your decision, but be aware of timescales if you appeal with no guarantees.

Re: Urgent: Pls HELP on Spouse Settlement Questions

You run the risk of a refusal, your application will look unprofessional and rushed. Also screenshots opens up the risk of them in the eyes of the ECO being fraudulent. It would be best to get all the proper documents in order and submit official documents. Yes it may cause some delay, but you may g...

Re: Visa Refused due to english language requirement

Hi

Since you say you forgot to do the English test, and you do one within the next 28 days it would still result in a refusal as the evidence was not there originally - it was done after the original application.

I would get the English test done and passed and then submit a new application.

Re: Spouse visa questions

I would not risk getting your passport approved by a unofficial source, go with a solicitor or nortary to be on the safe side.

Re: showing original title deeds or copies

I recommend you go on line to the land registry website and pay £3.00 and get a electronic copy downloaded and printed off to show your parents own the property and include it in the application. It would also be a good idea to get a property inspection report from an official source such as a estat...

Re: My Husband's Settlement Visa has been refused - Any advi

All convictions must be declared - your options are to go through an appeal or re-apply new application - which would be a quicker process. But your old application will now have an impact.

Re: Premium appointment - PEO payment (settlement - Tier-1)

Leave the payment sheet blank. Youl will get a payment reciept when you pay online, you will need to print this and take this along with you to confirm payment.

Re: Barclays Bank Statement

Paperless and Online bank statements are the samething. Print out your online statements, and take it to the bank to get them stamped. They will require proof of ID/address.Altertavely speak to the bank and get them to post them to send them to you - they may make a charge for these.

Re: Issue with payslips and bank statements

Hi

I dont think the issue of bank statements not showing your latest salary is an issue at all. As long as you supply previous payslips and bank statements to show the salry coming in will not be a problem. In addition to having all your other supporting documents in order.

Good luck

Re: Application is valid. Further Inquiries required

I think she just needs to double check your case with a senior caseworker - and confirm if everything is ok.
She said to you everything is ok, so should just be matter of watiing for a few days and you will get the decision you require.

Re: PTE Academic English test Scores

Hi The Pearson PTE test is acceptable and the benefit of this test is the quick turnaround of test results, however it is a bit expensive compared to other tests. Your wife needs speaking and listening and a pass in both aspects at 24 marks or above. So 24 or above for listening and 24 or above for ...

Thanks CR001 - just to clarify the point. For example say she needs extra time and does not pass the required tests until April 2014 - will she still be ok to apply for settlement as she will have gone over the 2 years but still within the spouse visa expiry date of May 2014.

Hello My wife has got a 2 year spouse visa granted in March 2012, and she arrived in the same month after about 1 week of being granted the visa. I understand to get ILR she will need to do the Life in the UK test and another CEFR English Test at level B1 in Speaking and Listening from the list of a...
