Re: 2ND NATURALISATION REFUSAL

Hi Sagranate Sorry for the decision on your application. Given the facts on your case NR won’t be successful. Key point to remember is on the letter they tell you that you are welcome to apply anytime but be advised any application before XX date is unlikely to be successful. You are never given th...

Re: First arrive in the UK?

Hi alterhase58, thanks for your prompt reply. I am not sure if I have those info looking back beyond 2010. Don't you think it should be enough if I cover the period from 2010-2019/2020 regarding application history. Although the HO reference I am using is the same one which was issued when I was re...

Re: Good character Questionnaire after applying for citizenship?

You seem to know the rules already regarding good character before you applied. You should have just waited till Jan 2022 to apply as it’s clear and obvious that the application is likely to be refused. Without knowing your prior immigration history and applications it’s hard to envisage a positive ...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

I am thinking to withdraw my application if my fee refunded. Cancel your visa, immigration or citizenship application I believe (but not sure) that you get a refund of your naturalisation fees less an administration fee of £25 if your application has not been decided when withdrawn. You only get re...

Re: Does citizenship affect no ea spouse PR status

As you have obtained PR your status does not depend on your spouse any more. You can apply for settled status on your own right regardless of your EU spouse becoming British. That’s if you chose to go that route rather than applying for citizenship after 12 months of your PR status.

Driver training course

hello all,
Do you need to declare a driver training course (What's driving Us course) for driving without due care and attention. No penalty points or fine was issued just a mandatory training attended and case closed.

Re: Eea family permit

I guess you are in the country already? So your question is EEA Residence card. You can have a look at the EEA FM timelines on the forum. The standard timeframe as per UKVI is still 6 months from date of application for residence card. If you are still in Algeria, then family permit is most likely i...

Re: Judicial review

Waste of money. JR may work when there has been a decision made and you have gone through other levels of appeals or reconsideration. You need to wait 6 months and after you can probably contact your MP or write a complaint. if you encountered loss due to delay after 6 months and you have the resour...

Re: Non EU family member would like to invite parents . which one is batter in current situation family visit visa or EE

Are you married to your partner? if yes, I will suggest below 1. I will suggest you apply EEA family permit since you have proof of dependency. 2. Visitor's visa might be harder given the fact that your parents are currently unemployed and not much of home ties which the ECO has to consider when gra...

Re: Held at border every time, besides BRP

You should write a formal complaint to UKVI complaint department explaining that your husband is now a family member of European citizen exercising her treaty rights in the UK. Tell them about the inconvenience it causes to you as the European national. My family friend had similar experience and I ...

Alternatively you can use the fast track SAR. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration on the form there is no mention of certified copy. it all depends on the information you are seeking. from what you mentioned I believe you can get it from the...

if it helps, when I did mine I sent just photocopy of my drivers licence and proof of address. Didn't need to certify any copies.
I guess they just want to see an id with your face so they can verify with pic they have on file.

Re: Parent of EEA National's Spouse Refused Family Permit - Help Needed!

Big dobby I had similar issues years back when I did for my mom. Though I spotted my own issue right f on when they sent COA for my mom, they treated her as extended family. I immediately followed it up with complaints and more complaints after the 1st response I got was unsatisfactory. See link for...

Re: EEA FP for mother in Law REFUSED

Appeal against the decision. Your mother in law is a direct family member and has automatic right of residence provided dependency for her basic needs can be proved. I believe the case officer that looked at the case was misinterpreting eu route dependency to national dependency rules(uk dependency ...
