I have just called local council Nationality Service Checking and they told me to bring council tax for the past 3 years.

My partner's settlement: he cannot remember exact date as it was more than 15 years ago. Is there any way to obtain the exact date at the home office or should I just put year and month? Can you confirm when the spouse applied for the spouse visa? After July 2012, new rule is 5 years for settlement not 2. Under the new rules, you'd need to extend the visa for another 2.5 years.
