Haha, update: they sent me a THIRD COA, this one is correct, stating I have the right to work. The first was wrong because they overlooked my marriage certificate, the second said I was both unconfirmed to work but also allowed, and the THIRD finally simply states I am allowed to work. already two ...

Passport return request - unusual response

Hi mates! I have requested the return of my passport through post and online form and received an unusual response. Just so you understand my situation, I have applied in August and my first application was denied based on lack of evidence of my wife's self employment. I reapplied and also filed a p...

@Wb00 let's keep fingers crossed while we wait for their reply. HO reps are very lazy people and always ignore most important things despite the fact they can access the information just by using our name, dob and nationality but yet try tend to do what they like. They pose themselves like a mini g...

@wb00 I am in same shoe with you regarding the COA not confirming right to work. The question I will like to ask you is Did you submit your passport and marriage certificate with the new application or do you have it in the HO's possession? I have my passport and marriage certificate with the HO af...

I fail to understand what's the point of firing emails at every direction (apart from releasing steam). Some of the people don't work in UKBA any more. Some addresses are for departments who has nothing to do with European applications. No one likes to get spam. I would imagine people working in th...

If you mean national insurance, yes. I got mine just with my passport copy and my CoA, but it will probably depend on the mood of the person you talk to at the Jobcentre.

Hi bigsale, First of all, thank you for your replies. We do have most of the documents they requested and we do have a strong case. The thing is, this job I got is really good and it would not come by easily again, so I am really worried. I am not sure which alternative is the best. I am thinking o...

Travelling on Coa - haven't received my passport on time

I have requested the return of my passport 20 days ago, and they weren't sent to me yet. I have tickets to fly to Czech tonight, where my wife's family lives (she is there with them these days). Is there a possibility I can get my entry granted and my boarding authorised, and my return to the UK on ...

Your situation is similar to mine, but I'm the brazilian citizen in my case. She can come with you (brazilians don't need a visa to stay in the UK up to 6 months) and then apply for eea2 once you're here. Once she gets a certificate of application (mine took three weeks), she is eligible to work her...

If there is an issue with the fee you have paid, your application will be deemed to be invalid and re...
