British Citizenship and staying out of Country

Hi, my friend is a naturalised british citizen now ( born in India). He is planning to go back to India for few year and then return back to UK.
Unlike PR I think if you are a BC you are free to enter/exit UK for any number of years and it doesnt have any effect on your citizenship... am I right ?

Recieved visa by post ( DX secure) in 4 working days but Surrender certificate took 12 working days.

you need to submit the passport at Indian Embassy and pay around 90£ to get the surrender certifciate as proof. At later stages you need this to get either your OCI / PIO cards.

You can enter UK within 2 years after leaving without any issues.

I've sent my naturalization form through NCS on 30th June. HO received on 2nd July. Credit card (CC) has'nt been debited till date ? is it normal ? guys dont get disappointed.... keep on trying various times during the day. Cancellations do happen and you might be lucky... if not apply through Postal, as I see from other posts turnaround time is within 4 weeks.. which isnt bad again..

i really doubt if SAR can be used as backup evidence, what antontony said is correct. Caseworker might question genuine of the SAR form you bring and may want to cross check. Having said that each caseworker and case is unique.
