Re: Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

I'm back here to share my experience and to thank forum members for their views on different cases. After careful consideration of how my wife will join me in the UK, we decided to go down the route of spouse visa with all the information gathered within this forum. My wife was granted the spouse vi...

Re: Online application

They are asking the date of refusal of my last application. I got a message from vfs that my processed visa application is dispatched on 4 th March 2019. Can I use this as date of refusal ? A refused application is always accompanied by a refusal letter so you should refer to the date in the refusa...

Re: Spouse visa Category B. All past employers required?

It is just the fact of having had other employment 11 months ago that is causing us bother - if we could just not mention it it would be far easier! Thanks in advance So, I presume your partner has been with current employer for the past 11 months. If that’s the case, why don’t you just wait for ad...

Re: vfs global in uk scaning supporing documment

For those that did the upload by themselves, do you by any chance know the maximum size allowed for all documents in total? I'm not sure if this applies to hose who went to the vfs centre. But my total was 156 pages. Not sure if there a limit on the site as I could not register at all. So you’re no...

Re: vfs global in uk scaning supporing documment

For those that did the upload by themselves, do you by any chance know the maximum size allowed for all documents in total? Hello, I had my documents scanned to but I wasn't given the option to check what had been scanned/uploaded. Should I be worried? Hi Roey28, I personally think it'll be okay. T...

Re: Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

No, my fiancee and I do not have any kids. However, I was previously married to an EEA national but we are now divorced (no kids as well). I applied and was granted a retained right of residence status after our divorce and subsequently obtained a PR status. Currently, I am eligible for UK Citizensh...

Re: Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

Rightly said, because of her immigration history, I want to believe we'll need to provide a lot of evidence that we're in a genuine and continuing relationship. So, provided we are going via spouse visa route, the documents to show that our relationship is genuine include: (i) Time spent together - ...

Quite understandable and you made a very good point, which is life after she gets into the UK. Cheers!

The best long term approach is for the Spouse visa. It will almost certainly take longer to get than a tier 4 visa but once it is done the path is easier in the future.

Re: Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

She obviously qualifies via both route as far as I can tell and perhaps, the reason I needed someone's input just in case I'm missing some sort of information. I personally have made 4 applications to the home office in this county (Tier4 to PR status) and I'm so fortunate to get things right on the...

Re: Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

She has a conditional offer at the moment, school is waiting on her to make a deposit after which the offer becomes unconditional. So any thought, please?

Considering Either Student or Spouse Visa Application

Before I met my fiancée, she has been denied a UK Visitor visa on four occasions, the last being in 2016. She has now secured admission for a postgraduate program into a Uni in the UK, having successfully finished her degree course in 2018 in Nigeria. I’m working as an IT professional on a full-time...

Re: Application lost in transit

No one is actually concerned about compensation, its about forcing royalmail to find the parcel. Its all about a family's life. Please more suggestions. I know the concern is actually for the documents, but you have got to understand that you can't really "force" them to find the package. You can f...

Re: SECOND CLASS ROYALMAIL SINCE 14th APRIL.

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone could advise me on what to do. After waiting for 6 months for Home office to decide my application, i contacted my MP and asked her to check on update for me. The MP's secretary rang me on 22nd April to advise me that my Residence Card has been despatched in the pos...
