Re: Does Home Office contact CSI provider in my home country

Hi,

Personally if it looks dodgy then they'd contact the insurance provider, but I was not from EU nations so I would await further replies. Good luck.

Re: Arrived in UK as child, now adult - what to do next?

If he is an adult on ILR then he needs to go through the normal route (gov uk link) and fulfil the requirements.

For requirement, please click here where seniors have compiled information to read. Good luck.

Re: Ceremoni and passport application

Can it be a problem if its on an A4 paper(immigration status)??? An "A4" paper? I am not sure I follow, but here goes. You are not a citizen until you have attended the ceremony, so if you wish to travel before attending ceremony, then you need to show original ILR visa on your way back. And if you...

Re: Validation Date of Referee Signatures!

There wasn't such policy five years ago according to this link and I didn't see any requirement recently either.

But to be on the safe side, personally less than six month's old (in line with other "fresh" definitions) is better. Good luck.

Re: Return of supporting documents and passport

If its the ceremony invitation letter from your local council. Then you should wait for your Home Office approval letter. That should come in a day or two, and should have your documents with it.

Re: Form T - Fee problem - Pls Help

Hi Amjad

Personally I would not send money. You got acknowledgement on November 25, so I would wait two more weeks and if the fees are not taken then they might write you again. I would request you to wait further but have the biometrics done. Good luck.

Yes why indeed, I was about the ask the same question, unless from Northern Ireland or remote parts of Scotland, its fairly easy, and a lot cheaper than all the fees and hassles of worrying about originals.

Re: Return of child's BRP card by NCS

I thought other documents like marriage certificate, birth certificate and passports are returned but child's own BRP card will required to be submitted. If that is not the case and child's BRP is also returned then my child can travel outside of the UK and come back to the UK using her returned BR...

Its usually a few months till approval.

But personally I would reset the clock the date you sent new test results. It might have gone into a different group of applications now. Good luck.

Cover letter isn't necessary in any case, but I have always included one in all of my applications. However as I said personally I think such checks had been made during your ILR.

You should await further replies here.

Re: supporting documents

It means ILR approval letter, since BRP is subject to loss/renewal. But I also think letter accompanying ILR BRP also states to keep the letter safe. So personally I think either of the two letters should suffice. I would also suggest to click here and book NCS as well. Good luck.

Re: Surname Change to Married before or after Naturalisation

The opinion on such matters differ. Since all previous documents were on Lena, to keep things simple, I am in the favour of leaving the name change till after Naturalisation, as some members had trouble getting UK passport due to name change, while others didn't. I shall await further replies. Good ...
