Re: ILR - Employer Trips Evidence

That should be fine. As I provided a similar letter from my previous employer who were not able to confirm exact dates of my absence.

Thank you @amber for the clarification. So, for my question # 6, I understand that I need not enter a certain amount. Shall I leave it blank or just enter an approximate amount? Can you also confirm if the documents I listed are sufficient or if I'm missing something. Many thanks in advance. Your ti...

Re: Query regarding SET(0) dependants

I think your partner will have to pay main applicant fees and your child (which I'm assuming to the 2nd dependant ) to pay the dependant fees. My spouse if applying on set (o) for ILR and hence I know that he has to pay main applicant fees. However, unsure about your 2nd dependant. Please confirm wi...

Re: Query regarding SET(0) dependants

Hi, if you have got ILR on the basis of PBS route and if your dependant is a PBS dependant and have lived in the UK for 2 years, then they can apply on SET (o).

Re: SET (O) as PBS dependant - please verify

Hi surya,

We are applying in person on tier 2 basis. We selected my husband's degree in PBS calculator (for tier 1) which will give points for both qualification & English. If you select tier 2 in the calculator, it wouldn't take you to the points for qualification (30 points).

Never ever use 1CL or One Catalyst

All, Beware when trying to get a tier 2 visa to work as a contractor. There are a number of rogue companies out there who are just thieves. Such companies are 1CL or One Catalyst (same management, 2 companies). I know someone who had really bad experience on leaving them. They cheat and are not prof...

Re: English Test requirement for Dependent

It should suffice as long as you get 30 points for qualification and 10 points for English for the degree in PBS calculator. Amber and other gurus have confirmed this in few other posts.

Re: PEO Appointment (Solihull/Sheffield)

Hi, I don't think that appointments for Sheffield and Solihull are released yet for post 07/03. I read in UKBA website that these 2 centres are being refurbished between jan-April 14 and so appointments are limited. Hence I guess they are not releasing appointments 42 days before calendar date. Keep...

Re: ILR rejected due to salary

I'm sorry for your situation. However, you must not do any other work as you are in a sponsored visa , i.e., tier 2 ICT. The employer should increase the salary as they issued you a visa on a certain job code.

Hi, Tier 2 visa is for employees who should work only for the sponsored employer, and not for any other employer. As contracts are like working for an employer different to that sponsored, it is not legal. A Tier 2 holder cannot have a direct contract. However, if the contracting companies or agenci...

My husband is a PBS dependant, entry clearance granted in Aug 2011, but entered UK only on Feb 25, 2012. I changed employment i...
