Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Thanks for the info. I was able to finally scan items with perfect resolution below the 6MB restriction...with the help of my husband who had a few tricks to adjust the size, but keep picture quality the same. There was a lot of cutting and pasting and cropping which took most of our evening, but i...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Hi allyf, I have used 300 dpi/ 400 dpi coloured resolution and scanned as a pdf. Please try to experiment with your scanner resolution, tbh even 100-300 dpi (dots per inch) resolution with colours won't be that bad. Printer/Scanner driver software should allow you to change the resolution. Test your...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

This sounds like a silly question but can anyone tell me where do I upload Home office check consent letter at the UKVCAS upload document section? Or do I just submit to the staff at service centre? Thanks So in the UKVCAS Sopra Steria website, you can use 'other' section to upload miscellaneous do...

Re: Please help with good character

I would recommend you to reveal all the information for Naturalisation process as it is somewhat different to PR process. Use the receipts of payment, bank statement that month to illustrate that you paid the fine. You can include a note of explanation as well. Its a rule of thumb to expose these sm...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Dear Swskum Many thanks for kind and elaborate information, I am so glad that I was seeking answer in this group. Your situation is exactly same as mine. It's such a shame for the sophisticated home office for publishing a new portal without any guidance... (Maybe they wanted us to hire solicitors ...

I am holding the PR as family member of EEA (Spouse) and planning to apply for British citizenship in next month. Please note my spouse will retain the EU nationality for some time. Can someone please confirm that, that PR under EU Law is equal to ILR under British Law and that both types of applica...

Re: Uncertainty around start, submission date of citizenship application under new system

Thanks for the replies. According to the gov.uk, (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/ukvis-new-front-end-services-what-you-need-to-know) under the new service, there are mainly two steps. Step 1 1. make the online application through gov.uk 1.1 Under the new service, you’ll make your application and pay yo...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

UKVI have published a document with new fees valid from 8 October 2018: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table Almost all of the fees remain the same, but the interesting point is that 8 October is probably the date that the new system will come into effect (given...

Facing a dilemma! returning PR card

My father applied to EEA FM as a dependent parent of non-EU spouse (Me). We have sent my EU spouse's original PR card with the application with a copy. After a month or so, father has given bio metrics and received the COA letter. However I am planning to apply for my Permanent Residency (EEA PR) an...
