Um, what? WRS only applied to certain countries that joined the EU in 2004, not all EU countries.

Which nationality do you hold? Are you from any EU country? If yes then you needed to register with HO for WRS

To ask extension from HO you need to contact them and they will ask you to write a letter why you want to extend the 90 days. I know this as I was planning it too but finally i managed to attend the ceremony on the 85.day :-)

Why would your friend spend thousands £ if they do not even intend to live here? Hi,

As an EEA member of myself, you needed to have WRS card but you won't get any penalty if you don't have however your application is likely to be refused.

My children have 3 nationalities and we have no problems with that. Why should they surrender one of that?They were entitled to those and got that without any problem

I did not have any letters but I had P60s and P45s. So do not worry. You don't need any letters. It would just easier to UKVA but it's not an obligation

If you read the booklet what you get with the form it does say you do need your parents' details! So everyone should follow the guidance I wouldn't recommend check and send service anyway. I used it for the first time for my son and there were 2 mistakes in it what they did not say so needed to send...

The ceremony depends on your council. Me and my husband needed to call the councils (different councils) and never received any letters from them with a date. So call them and you will see!

I think they don't have Saturday appointment but they can give you Friday evening appt. The latest one is half 5 if I remember well. This is what they gave me in March
