Re: British child passport renew application on hold: middle name problem

Following the issue of the UK passport we only had to change the name of our daughter at her school and doctor so wasn't that bad. It will certainly be a lot more complicated for you as an adult with 3 passports. I hope you'll find a solution. My daughter is also an Italian citizen but we haven't ap...

@brazuca, I just signed up for this message board to message YOU, but I can't do a private one. Was your issue resolved? I am having the same problem renewing my UK passport because of how my Surname on the Brazilian differs from theirs. The problem is that I have one more passport.. USA. So both U...

Re: British child passport renew application on hold: middle name problem

In what name was her previous British passport issued? (using the example names above). What does her U.K. birth certificate say for first and last name? What's your view on what "family name" your daughter should use for U.K. purposes going forward? All this is relevant because the Passp...

Re: Applying Naturalization and Passport at same time

This was posted earlier and I am not able to quote because the post is too old but it is potentially really useful information. I am in this situation and have been advised by UKVI that they are getting lots of calls about it. I have a JCAP application in progress and have been waiting 5 weeks for ...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

From what I see people posting here... 1- passport is received in 1-2 weeks after the citizenship ceremony - not the approval - until the ceremony, you are not Brit yet 2 - there's no interview for passport with the JCAP applications. Hi Everyone, I had two questions on British Passport. Wasn't sure...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

Destruction of BRP. Hello all, After application for naturalisation gets accepted, is the five day period for sending the BRP back to UKVI counted from the day of receiving the letter or from the day of the citizenship ceremony? Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Q2.4 is more important for you. Hi, I left Q2.4 blank as I think it doesn't apply to me. That's right, no? ...the AN Guide says: 2.4 – 2.6 If you are a national of a member state of the EEA, or the family member of an EEA national, and do not have indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom yo...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Thank you for the reply. Yes I do have PR since the end of 2013. Just wasn't 100% sure about this point 1.3 on the form. Q2.4 is more important for you. Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Hi all The time has finally come! Time to apply for my British citizenship. I have filled the AN form but am not sure on point 1.3 - When indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK was given. Is this the issue date of the Permanent Residence? Or the issue date of the 5 year 'visa' prior to the PR? ...

Re: application fees

Thank you for sharing your experience. I sent my application on 06th August and received the COA on 16th August 2013 so I hope they'll process mine as fast as they did for you. As part of the EEA4 application, they charge £55. Did you add your bank details/card or did you choose the post check? Do ...
