Around 2 - 3 months. Need to apply visa because we need to travel soon. Once we are back, We would be applying for his PIO card.

My child is British citizen and therefore holds British passport. If he would have Indian passport then obviously no visa would have been required. Hey

Present nationality of your child would be Indian as she is Indian by descent. I just got British citizenship for my 6 month old son under section 1(3). Both me and my husband are Indian passport holders.

Even I applied for my son on 18th oct, received by UKBA on 22nd Oct, fees has not been deducted till now. Mailed HO couple of times but no use.

Wonder how long is it going to take! :(
