Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Hi Guys, I applied for my first passport on the 4th of March using the Check and Send service. I notice some people receive a text acknowledging receipt of their application within 3/4 days but mine has been a week and I haven't received any form of correspondence so I'm somewhat worried. I didn't e...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Why would anyone do that? Why would anyone create an account just for this purpose?! Doesn't make sense to me! If you have a clean record and you applied this time of the year when the new citizen count for the government has been reset, then you should get it fairly quickly! I applied on the 28th ...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guys, it's so sad to hear about people waiting 6 months or more. I have only just applied and hope not to wait that long. HO have a weird way of processing applications but I knew applying before October would be a very bad decision seeing as the new rules were implemented, couple with the massive b...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

You can protest as much as you want, write letters, complaint... that won't change this : British citizenship is a privilege NOT a right. you can't argue with that, even if when they refuse an application, you can ask for reconsideration and not an appeal. I think this is very important that people...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Can I Say something about naturalisation priorities... As you would expect, spouses of BC will be first priorities which is acceptable. However when it comes to other categories, people seem to be unaware of a system or lack of one, when it comes to the HO. Five year Tier-1 visas are second prioriti...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guys, Here is a message to all October applicants waiting: The reason you haven't received your approval is because you applied in October! UK Immigration 101- never apply in a month when there are new rules! Due to the new laws on 28thOct, there was a massive surge of applications which resulted in...
