Re: COS Expiry with a valid Tier2 Visa

Should the company withdraw the cos, the visa is automatically cancelled hence you can't travel with it to the uk. In that instance you are free to look for a new sponsor and apply for a new tier 2 visa. Also if you decide not to work for the company anymore, just inform then and the visa will be ca...

Re: COS Expiry with a valid Tier2 Visa

1. Yes you can. You will need a new cos and RLMT if required. 2. Once visa has been issued, cos doesn't expire until expiry date of visa. Cos 3 months duration is the time within which you need to use it to apply for a visa. 3. There is nothing you can do should they choose to withdraw it. Let's hop...

Re: Tier 2 Dependent to Teir 2 Sponsored

1. Yes, you can switch to tier 2 dependant in the uk or out of country. Although you can work without restrictions on a dependant visa, no one can confirm that the job will be permanent and this has nothing to do with the length of your visa. Permanent job or contract/temp is not an immigration issu...

You can't apply for british passport directly for your baby. You first need to register baby as british citizen using form MN, and pay £670 after which you use the certificate to apply for british passport.

Re: Certified passport copy

You don't need a solicitor to help you with this case. You don't even need certified copies of pages in your passport. All you need are ordinary copies of your passport with tier 2 visa, photo page. you don't even need to send copies of visa unrelated to tier 2. The immigration rules are very simple...

She can apply for ILR 2 years from when work permit dependant visa was issued if that date was before 9th july 2012.
If her work work permit dependant visa was issued after 9th july 2012, then 5 years from that date.

Now back to your concerns; should you resign before they issue you cos and offer letter as said by your company! -because you are psw dependent, you are not directly under employer sponsored immigration control like tier 2. There is no guidance in ukba that will answer your question. All you need is...

Sorry, we certainly overlooked DEPENDENT. Thanks for the correction.! Your case certainly is straight forward. Nothing to do with dependent visa. You need to make a fresh tier 2 application from your home country with restricted cos. As said above make sure salary is appropriate for soc, maintenance...

Re: Tier 2 ICT Short Term Visa change of employment

Unfortunately I can't calculate. Ukba will write to you if they widh to curtail your leave. You can only wait for that letter at this point. Sometimes ukba may choose not to curtail your leave to 60 days if you have dependants including children on your visa. Then again it's upto them, sadly you sti...

Re: Tier2 Dependent to Tier2-Sponsored

Exactly so. You have nothing to prove so long as you can do that job at nvq 6, even if you don't have the qualification but the necessary experience that should suffice. Of course your exam is in june hence you aren't too far off for a qualification anyway. Only bear in mind that from 2016 you need ...

1. Since you are continuing in the same job with same sponsor your job can be at level 4 and the salary has to be appropriate for your SOC or higher. 50k is not an absolute figure 2. Not sure how long your sponsor didn't have a license for, ifmore than 6 months, then yyour job may now have to be at ...

You can can enter the uk so long as your visa has not expired. Not every body applies for extension, if you plan to, fair enough. This will have no impact on entering the uk.

If she entered the uk on work permit from 2007, then was due for ILR in 2012. Can we know why she is applying for ILR in 2014? Can you list her absences from 2007 till date? Hi,
Unfortunately you do not qualify for ILR in 2015 or 2016 as your ICT was finally issued after april 2010. You can't switch to tier 2 general in country. You need to apply for tier 2 general from your home country after serving one year cooling off period.

You are psw, you can apply for tier 2 in country abd don't need to go back to India for your application. Whether to resign or not before they can offer you an employment letter and cos is not an immigration issue. It's upto your company and their policies! You don't have to resign, not necessarily ...

If your sponsor is A rated then they obviously should know wgat to do about RLMT. Luckily in your case, the settled worker didn't take the job, hence they can go ahead and assign cos.
Otherwise show them the latest tier 2 sponsor guidance(over 100 pages) on ukba website.

Re: Tier2 Dependent to Tier2-Sponsored

Sorry to hear about your issues! Unfortunately tier 2 visa job has to be at the level of nvq 6 and above. You cannot be sponsored for a job at nvq 4 level. Convince your company to give you a job at nvq 6 and do RLMT. If no settled uk worker can do it, then they can sponsor you provided they pay you...

Re: Top Urgent Help Needed from Manci and others reg Tier 2

Sorry for what happened. Unfortunately RLMT is done to find out if any uk or EU candidates can do the same job. On this occasion the RLMT demonstrated that, so unfortunately you can't be sponsored. Your company cannot do anything about it. Keep applying for jobs and hopefully RLMT may fail to get a ...
