Re: General discussion after BC and Passport application

Guys, I need some information, if anyone can help me... I received my naturalisation certificate today and now I need to apply for the passport. In the document it is stated that "you should not travel before you receive the passport". Unfortunately, I need to travel abroad for 2 weeks (I've got ano...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guys, I know this post is not for here but I've got a question. I received my documents last week and the letter, stating that I should wait for an invitation to a ceremony, which may take approximately 2 weeks but as far as I can see, it normally comes straight after the documents. Should I call t...

Re: 6 weeks and no acknowledgment yet?

Hi aneel, your post gives me bit of hope! I applied on 1/11/13, UKBA received it on 4/11/13 and haven't heard from them since! They didn't deduct the fee yet and no acknowledgement letter received either! I don't mind them taking their time, I just want to know they didn't accidentally shredded the...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

As far as I can see the HO is still dealing with applications from October. I'm not expecting anything for November applicants until probably the end of the month.

No action at all on November applications yet. From this forum we've had one fee deduction that we know of from an application received by the UKBA on October 29th, other than that it's all Oct 25th or earlier. Hopefully late next week or the week after we'll start to see fee deductions for Novembe...

But the strange thing is that her account has not been debited. Nice freebie! :D Haha, no, I think they will debit it eventually, but it's really strange she got such letter stating that a decision has been made. She still hasn't received an approval letter and the whole situation is intrigu...

Pqek is so far the only person who sent the application after 28 October and it has already been approved. The rest are still waiting for accounts to be debited and it seems that the HO has stopped processing applications or even if it is, it is taking a long time. I checked my bank account today an...

Abiindian, maybe you can contact them and let them know. About the applications after 22/23 October, I honestly think they have stopped processing them for the moment, that's why most of the people haven't received acknowledgment letters and their accounts haven't been debited yet. The problem is we...

Hi guys! From the people I was able to exchange information with, it turned out, the UKBA does not process the documents by order. On the website it is written that the current waiting time is around 6 months, although many applications are returned much sooner than that. A friend of mine who got he...
