Re: No Invitation Of Ceremony

Hi Panda,

I received approval on 14th March, and Invitation (from HO)on 19 March. Both letters were dated the 12th March. I suspect it is a Royal Mail issue. I am still waiting for letter from council (in my area, council automatically sends invite).

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

Hi Chris1, I applied on the 7th of January. I would try not to worry to much, as we have seen in the last couple of days more and more approvals for the beginning two weeks of January. There are still people waiting from October, November and December. I agree with you that it is very annoying that ...

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

Hi milan69, I have read some of the comments in the October/November/December forums, and it would appear that the HO have a list of responses. FOr instance, one person rang up one week to be told that a caseworker was looking at it, then rang a couple of weeks later to be told that it had not been ...

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

Well my money was debited on the 25th of January, and there are people with approvals who had money taken after this date, there must be some system. I am a spouse of native BC, and everything is to the book. I do not really understand what they are doing!!!

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

I applied on the 6th January. None of us no the exact system in which they order applications, some say first come first serve, I reckon it is more likely that months are split maybe weekly and spread to a specific caseworker, and it may then be organised by Surname alphabetically. My surname begins...

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

I agree and get your point 27pence. i was just letting frustration out really, i know there is nothing more we do expect wait. I did call the HO this morning, same response "your application is incomplete", but it means it's being dealt with; so hopefully the brown envelope will arrive soon. I thin...

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

i am a 13th Jan applicant and still waiting for approval. I can see people who applied after me are getting approvals already, it's rather frustrating to know the way HO deal with applications, my case is absolutely straightforward, i am not from a high risk country either. Hi Sihujazz, I applied t...

Re: January 2014 - Naturalization Application Timeline

I applied on the 6th January through an NCS office and it was received the next day by UKBA. I think the situation for January is the same as December, there was a number of approvals in the last week of January (for early December), but a lot of approvals were received in the first weeks of Februar...
