Re: ILR Savings QQ

Thanks for that. I was under the impression they cross referenced every stage of the application with the one previous. I was obviously wrong in my thought process there. They do but they cross reference what you state in application forms and evidence that might have been submitted to find out if ...

Re: ILR Savings QQ

I find it strange that even after flr m stage they require this as would it not all be on the system anyway? It is not HO's job to scurry around looking for stuff that an applicant didn't submit or what might be relevant from a previous application. It is and always has been/will be, the applicants...

Re: ILR Savings QQ

The date of entry on a spouse visa is what determines when an applicant is eligible to apply for ILR, i.e. 60 months spouse visa minus 28th days. Normally all previous passports need to be scanned and uploaded, included all stamped/visa pages. This will likely all be required again for citizenship....

Did you not keep copies of such important documents?? I have managed to find a coloured scan copy of it as I’m sure I did take had scanned a copy for safe keeping. I will forward this to them. Re: ILR Savings QQ

I have forwarded scan passport id, and brp, the caseworker has asked for the viginette but it’s rather confusing as we weren’t supplied one at FLRm stage. What visa did she initially enter the UK? Caseworker isn't asking about FLR m visa extension 2.5 years ago. Spouse visa 5 year route. Entry to c...

Re: ILR Savings QQ

Furthermore. There isn’t a vignette in the passport. We were issued with a BRP at the flr stage. Unless the caseworker meant the page which shows the details and passport photo? Have scanned and sent both.

Re: ILR Savings QQ

I sent my bank statements as required by the case worker on the 1st July, caseworker sent me the email requesting them on the 24th of June. Still no email to acknowledge or approval. Application was submitted on the 20th of March. Any idea how long it usually takes? I’d have assumed that since this...

Re: ILR Savings QQ

An update; we applied on the 20/03/2020. Due to covid19 our appointment in April got cancelled. We submitted our documents last Friday, using the standard method and have received an email today from the HO. Now I’m rather confused. The bank statement showing the savings we are relying on was print...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

So my wife submitted her Bio-metrics today at the Leeds centre. All went well, and she was seen before her allocated time as we arrived an hour early.

Are we meant to get a confirmation e-mail of her application now, or is it a sit and wait game?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Good job I checked our e-mail. Have had to rebook, we were offered appointments at the Leeds centre for this week as soon as Monday. I however have kept it to the day they originally rebooked it for us which is two weeks away. Just to stay on the safe side in-case Covid rates increase again.

Re: ILR Savings QQ

Sorry to be a pain but I have a small concern. Overlooked by me, I didn’t realise we could apply 28 days before her 5th anniversary in the U.K. - this was in November last year. I was under the assumption we applied no more than 28 days before visa expiry. My wife’s visa is due to expire at the end...

Re: ILR Savings QQ

Zimba, when you say one family member. We have a dependent child who is British born, does this change the amount of savings needed? As at the flr stage we had no issues applying via savings and employment. But it would be easier to apply from savings this time round. No. Only dependents in the app...
