They could be focussing on applications recieved in 2014 so they can report healthy stats for the current year. So what about those who applied earlier ... let them suffer for some stupid stats ! This is tosh. sameeer why are you so negative? Just about every time you post you're attacking the peop...

Re: Naturalisation - No Acknowledgement from HO

I applied in mid December and it took them 5 weeks to acknowledge my application.

Late October applicants had to wait nearly 2 months for acknowledgement.

So in short, wait.

You'll get a letter from them and they will deduct the fee from your bank account, that's how you'll know.

As a recent UKM applicant/approvee let me tell you it's an expensive application. As if not for a stupid law UKM applicants would have been citizens from birth. £80 fee is £80 too much.

Bit premature for congrats, it could be a rejection letter. :?

I applied on 11 December and was acknowledged on 22 January.

Do note that I've applied for registration, not naturalisation. So my circumstances are slightly different.

Re: Fees Clearance problem PLEASE ADVISE

Similar thing happened to me although in my case it was due to my bank holding up the payment waiting on me to submit a fraud form allowing it to be processed. The payment will sit in pending transactions with your bank for about a week max. Once that happens it'll get reversed out and if UKBA don't...

What does it mean if your application is 'incomplete'? Has it even been assigned to a caseworker? The wait is killing me! Here's to a week full of approvals!!! :D It means your application hasn't been looked at yet. Still in the pile.. They do work on your application even if it hasn't been allocat...

Why? Every application is different and therefore can take different times. Case workers can work at different speeds.

It's not a big conspiracy, you know.
