when you apply for extension, you must satisfy the rules current at the time of application. So yes, you might be subjected to abiding by new rules. Will new rules apply to those who entered in 2009

Dear All,

I entered the UK in January 2009 as Tier 1 (General) migrant. I wonder will the new rules apply to me as well? Shall I do my FLR in 2 years time? What will happen further? I can not understand to be honest with you how it will all work from now on. Need your advice.

My application was refused in June 2005 and I have sent my review request within next 20 days and I am still waiting for their decision....so you can count yourself how long it might take :(

Yes, unfortunately all we can do wait. I am waiting for my review to be processed since the 20th of July!!!! I called them more that 3 times, sent them a number of emails, but ALAS no reply has been received so far....and I DO think it is appauling!!! The fanniest thing is that I have been waiting ...

Hi Robbie, The HO gave me 25 points for work experience and the ref letters were not complicated at all, rather simple I would say. So I do not think that the number of pages matters. In my opinion what they think is imporant if it is graduate level work and if it can be easily verified. Regards ...
