Should child be listed as dependent?

Hi guys,

Quick question...

Must our child be listed as a dependent on our VISA Application? Child was born in the UK, with UK birth certificate to me (british since birth), and my wife who is applying for her SET(m) ILR?

Surely would not need to be a dependent?

Thanks
Phil

Re: The last year of financial accounts -- what does it mean to meet the financial threshold? Urgghh, complex!

Sorry for late reply, The current appointments document is found on companies house, you can find it by searching for your company and downloading it, it should be free. You're probably right on the financial requirement 18-19 been enough, and I am not going down the route of an average of 2 years, ...

Re: The last year of financial accounts -- what does it mean to meet the financial threshold? Urgghh, complex!

OK, so a bit more clarity from solitor today. I was advised to have the mindset that my LTD company is a seperate person, my boss for example. In 2017-2018 my income was from two employers, my own company as well as my salaried income from previous job. I met threshold in that tax year, just my proo...

Re: The last year of financial accounts -- what does it mean to meet the financial threshold? Urgghh, complex!

Over 240 views and no replies to anything :( -- yep, I'm not entitled to anything here, sorry, just it's so disheartening when nobody has a word of anything to add. I've paid for a solicitor tomorrow who will hopefully make these things a whole lot clearer, my gut feeling is that I will have to wait...

4) on the following quote from appendix: 9.3.6. Income under Category F or Category G can be combined with income from salaried and non-salaried employment, non-employment income and pension income in order to meet the financial requirement. However, unlike with other Categories, these sources of in...

Re: SET(M) Self Employed Financial Requirement (Mixture of employment and self employment?)

OR maybe I'm getting too caught up on my Self Assessment for period 2017-2018 when infact only 2018-2019 is important? Is it only necessary to show the financial requirement threshold was met in the last self assessment? I'm potentially getting a bit blind-sided that there is so much emphasis on the...

SET(M) Self Employed Financial Requirement (Mixture of employment and self employment?)

Hi guys, I had a couple of queries I'm praying someone can help me with... as I'm really getting stuck :( I'm not really sure how to meet the financial requirement. I'm a diretor of a ltd company, so I am relying on self employed income, and this is a SET(M) application. My last full company year is...

Re: Questions around financial requirement / bank statements

VISA has been granted today! Thanks everyone for your input, especially CASA, for your sound advice on not delaying past the expiry date. To answer my own query above, it seemed the most sensible option was to just wait and obtain the case reference on the acknowledgement letter before sending the a...

Re: Questions around financial requirement / bank statements

We've come to the conclusion to use category A.

The wording can be such a pain,

Many thanks to everyone, and I'll update this on the eventual outcome when it comes around,

Re: Questions around financial requirement / bank statements

Thanks again,

OK that seems like a plan of action, typically, would a case worker accept paperwork submitted after the application has been posted? even if they haven't exactly looked at the application that fast? I guess we are talking a matter of 2-3 working days only.

Re: Questions around financial requirement / bank statements

Thanks Casa,

The last bank statement is dated: 3rd October to November 2nd

EDIT:
If your last payslip was issued on the 28/10
It was issued on this date yep, and paid on the 31st

Hmmm... this is awkward.

Re: Questions around financial requirement / bank statements

Thanks Casa, Will have the 12 payslips, and 11 months of original posted bank statements, but the last one would have to be a faxed copy from the bank which I'm really unsure about, The alternative I suppose is rescheduling the appointment but then we're on borrowed time... Thanks: Ah, noticed your ...

Re: Home inspection Report for Spouse VISA

Make sure you get a report done by a registered estate agent, preferably on the list of immigration housing inspectors that will be provided by your local council, it should not cost anymore than £40-70. The report must outline the measurements of each room and the people living in the house. The am...
