Spouse visa income- Is this right?

Hi Let's say I earn £10,000 from rented property. I do not work. Is the following correct to use as income and saving to bring my wife over? £18,600 - £10,000 = £8,600 £8,600 x 2.5 = £21,500 £21,500 + £16,000 = £37,500 With a rental income of £10,000 and no other job / income I would need saving of ...

Marrying a visitor

I have been approached by a potential marriage partner. She is a visitor to the UK. The exact type of visitor I am unsure. Can I legally marry a visitor? If I marry her can she stay in the UK? Will she have to return to her country and then I apply to have her come to the UK? As always a big thank y...

Re: H.Court Find Min income Rules Disproportionate & Unjusti

Thank you for your kind replies.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I hope they rule against HO. £18,600 is just too much money.

Mimimum age of marriage

Hi

As far as I know no one successfully challenged the rule that a wife should be at least 21.

My question please is that should the wife be 21 when you marry her, or can you marry a girl who is 20 and then apply to bring her to UK when she is 21?

Thanks

Re: H.Court Find Min income Rules Disproportionate & Unjusti

Am I right in thinking that the people bringing the case against the Home Office will appeal?

The first just said unlawful, the second judge said lawful.

What will the third judge be likely to say?
