Travel while renewing the BRP

Hi, I have Indefinite Leave to Remain with a BRP expiring in June 2024. I have just submitted a renewal application via UKVCAS today, but I heard that it might take up to 6 months for me to get the new card, which is ridiculously long. I am intending to travel outside the UK in April 2024. Is it ...

When I apply for ILR from Tier 1 Entrepreneur, is there still maintenance fund requirement, and if so how much I should keep in my bank account for 90 days?

Re: Application for ILR from Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

In that case, to minimise loss, would it be sensible to try ILR for myself only (without dependant wife at the same time), and if it is successful, then ask my dependant wife to apply for ILR, otherwise apply for extension for both myself and my dependant wife? Or is there a rule that says the ...

Re: Application for ILR from Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

Does that mean the application fee paid for ILR is all lost/wasted, and I need to pay once again for the extension application?

What might be the options given in the refusal letter, particularly when the refusal causes overstaying?

Re: Application for ILR from Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

My current Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) may have expired when I hear the outcome of my ILR application. If my application for ILR turns out to be refused due to the net increase of 2 employees not being maintained for 365 days since last grant, will the UKVI automatically extend my Tier 1 (Entrepreneur ...

Re: Application for ILR from Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

Thank you @Zimba. I have taken a look at Appendix A of the Immigration Rules at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-a-attributes and found that: Table 6 (row 3) says: The jobs must have existed for at least 12 months during the applicant’s most recent grant of l ...

Re: Application for ILR from Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)

Thank you @Zimba. When I joined the business back in 2017 the number of employees was 3. I got my Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa extended on 3 December 2020, and since then the number of employees did not fall below 5 until December 2021. So I can provide 12 monthly RTI submissions from December 2020 to ...

Re: When should I apply for extension?

There is no restrictions or limitations on when to apply for an extension. But applying too early may result in another extension required before completing 5 years to be eligible for ILR. I wanted to ensure that the visa gets extended to at least 19-Oct-2022 when I will become eligible for ILR, in ...

How much maintenance fund required?

Could anyone point me at a gov.uk page which indicates how much maintenance fund is required for each main applicant and each dependant respectively in Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa extensions? Many thanks.
