Re: Long Resident with EEA Family member resident

If you don't have all the evidence for each year under the EEA Residence permit, your ILR will also fail.

FLR(FP) on what basis??

Re: Citizenship enquiry

That'd be great thanks. I'm nearly on 30 posts I think! Regarding my biometric permit, if the ncs copied it and returned it for me so I can still use until I'm approved what would I write on the form? Yes it will be returned to you and you only have to send it back to HO once you have attended your...

Ok, will deactivate the other one which is on a 'hotmail.com' email address.

You need 30 posts and then PM will automatically activate.

Your other username account is active but can deactivate it for you. Strange that you cannot log in. What error message are you getting?

Only asking as I was going to send you a PM but your new username doesn't have PM access yet.

Re: Set LR

Stop listening to 'other people' who might not know the rules. The information you have posted appears to come from the link for continuous residence for PBS migrants for ILR based on 5 years and NOT from the one for long residence ILR applicants. There is a big difference between the two. See the l...

Re: Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

It takes a while for the stuff to get to the post room to be sent.

You should also note that if you are using the new trial BETA service to track your application, it could very well be giving incorrect info.

So what is really concerning you about the application?

It is far more straightforward than you think.

Were you previously registered on the forum under a different username? If so, what was it??

Re: Dependant extension of a British Citizen with Tier 1 rou

Why would they refuse it?

You can apply for an extension in person if you wish and then wait a couple of months and apply for ILR and pay again. You won't get a refund of any extension fees or IHS paid.

Re: Citizenship enquiry

I don't know yet... I've been reading the form/guide/booklet, and I can't see anywhere it is asking for evidence of work, only evidence of lawful residence and the usual passport, BRP, tests results, photo and referees, fees. But I'd like to prepare for any eventuality. I have asked in a different ...

Re: Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

Your documents will likely come in the prepaid envelope.

The decision letter comes in an A5 brown envelope, 2nd class mail (looks a bit like junkmail post).

Re: Referee for AN Naturalisation

Members on the forum generally get referees that have known them for 3 years, as the requirements for BC state. Surely you know someone for 3 years that has a British passport? They DO NOT have to be British from birth, it can be someone who got citizenship recently through naturalisation. The only ...

Re: Dependant extension of a British Citizen with Tier 1 rou

And in same time should i apply for extention for save option ???? Why would you want to do that? You cannot make two applications to two different departments at the same time. If you want to apply for an extension and pay the visa fee and IHS of £600 for a 3 year visa, go ahead. ILR is already ve...

Re: When is a spouse visa officially cancelled?

It is cancelled/curtailed at the time when UKVI/HO sends your notification/letter of it and not from the minute your spouse (ex) informs HO.

Re: Post office check and send

You don't state when you applied for the passport, but if you have a reference number already, suggest contact HMPO and speak to them. They might write to you, they might not, so contact them first. Note that registering the birth at the council has nothing to do with applying for a passport where y...

Re: Referee for AN Naturalisation

Your referees (both) must have known you for 3 years, as the requirement states.

HO might ask you for another referee, they might not.

Only one referee needs to be British (the 'friend' referee). The professional referee can be any nationality.
