Not for free! They will for a fee. When I spoke to them, they did not tell me anything about letter for a fee. I have Natwest Private account, so I guess if they did not tell me, they don't have it. Or even if they have it, I could not use it because they did not tell me! I described them that it i...

Thank you Lucapooka. I checked this guidance about dozen times already. Well, their description of the "letter" fits to what you can see on the "statement", Natwest bank statement has all this information. I also called Border Agency today. It took me only 5 mins! The line was free! And the person t...

Evidence of 200K in UK, Natwest statement enough?

Hello Thank you very much for your help! :) I tried to find it on the forum and on Border Agency website and guidance to visa but could not find it. I live in UK for several years already and I have 200K in Natwest Savings Account. Natwest does not provide any letters. Is it enough to send Home Offi...

I don't know why this topic was moved to Post-Study category. Some other visas have maintenance funds requirements too. I think this topic is more appropriate to General area of this forum. I respect moderators authority, however, wanted to ask to move it back if it's possible. Does anyone know answ...

Thank you. But I still wonder, if we make joint account now, can we apply earlier than 3 months or we have to wait for 3 months since we made it joint? Because I had money for ages but she did not. So account will show that money were there for 3 months. But will they check the date when we made it ...

No, we apply at the same time. My wife is the main applicant, I'm her dependent. It looks like she will need to have money on her account for at least 3 months. It looks like dependent is allowed to use family member account but the main applicant has to show only her bank account and can not use ot...

Hello My wife will need to apply for visa soon which requires maintenance funds. She did not have money on her account. I had money on my account all the time. Two questions: when invest and can provide jobs for 6 month?

Hello, thank you very much for your help. I have two questions. Can I provide employment in total of 6 months fulfilling working hours requirements. They mention 12 months on the website, however, they say that you can combine periods and employ different number of people. So I am interested in prov...

First, current discussion is only regarding family routes. Especially Marriage. It has nothing to do with Long Residency ILR. Second, I don't think they are even going to touch Long Residency. They already said that they will limit student visas to 7 years in total. So almost nobody will be able to ...

I don't think there is any evidence that non-EU and non-Commonwealth have it more difficult than others. Perhaps you misunderstood me. I am not saying that it is harder to get ILR for non-EU non-Commonwealth migrant when you are eligible for it. But it is much harder to complete this journey. If yo...

Yes, I totally agree with the frustration because of the rules changes. They change rules very often. And sometimes new rules are not even published in the news, you find about them not in time... I think getting British citizenship is very hard, apart from lucky few who had very good marriage or so...

Was your journey to UK ILR easy or hard? How do you feel?

Hello :) I wanted to ask general opinion of people, how easy or hard it was for them to get to the point when they are eligible for ILR in UK. How do you feel at the end of it? (Moderators, I understand this is not a technical question or question for help, however, I believe this topic may be quite...

I am not an expert but I thought that 10 years legal stay allows to have gaps like this. Isn't it true that you can have a gap up to 6 months between visas if you apply 10 years legal stay, as long as you were not outside UK for more than 18 months in total and no more than 6 months in one go? Or am...

Yea. They could do it, I agree. Well, thank you.

Regarding 1 year for resit, well it was kind of accident. I was kind of surprised myself and never planned to do it in advance. It was quite serious dissertation anyway, so time well spent... I was not cheating or anything... Cheers!

I got MA 2 years ago and BA about 4 years ago. I did not plan to make resit. It's not standard, it was an accident of course, it is rare. Would they really implement such radical changes in April? Universities already start to get applications for September 2012. Oxford and Cambridge have deadlines ...
