did you apply inside UK ? Does delay relate to something wrong with the documents ?? I applied inside UK. It's not really a delay yet because if I receive it this week or next week, it would be in line with processing times more or less. I don't have any problems with documents, at least so far, I ...

I applied 18 th Jan .. took biometric on 31st Jan. I applied on 10 January. Still waiting. I hope it will arrive soon. But after reading other posts I'm not so sure. I think they mean that it is about 4 weeks for 75% after timeline given in processing times. But then you should have received it (I ...

From what I know it will not be touched for at least next two years. You can check earlier posts on this subject. But if you are that worried, why not contact good immigration solicitors, for example the company which own this forum and pay for small consultation and then let us know their opinion. ...

No, I haven't received it yet. But I expect to receive it very soon. I find it very strange that you applied half a year ago and still no visa. When did you pass biometrics? Did you apply from inside or outside UK? If you applied from inside UK, you should have received it, based on processing times...

Re: PSW Waiting HELL

Well, if you want to go to your home country, just go... why leave message here at all? Everybody had to wait... more or less. I've been waiting from UKBA for ages... I don't know what your home country is. If I was from USA or Switzerland, I would never wait for any visas anywhere...

Hi Most of the wait is for biometrics invitation letter. I've been waiting for it for about 5-6 weeks! Then you need to book appointment. I applied for this visa about 2 months ago, attended biometrics about a week ago. I think they will review my application during this week. They process this visa...

Very bad immigration consultants you contacted... you need to pass biometrics every time you apply for visa which require them.

Even if you passed them many times already. They say they do it to double check your identity. Check UKBA website, there is info there.

I can confirm that the Government has not proposed changes to the current 10 year long residence rules and they remain in force. You may be interested to note that the Government is, as part of its wider review of the immigration system, reviewing the 14 year long residency rule. The 14 year rule c...

1. If the government wants to change the rule then they can do so anytime. 2. There wud not be any transational arrangements for anybody under this category. Speculations, speculations... Based on the facts we have: 1. It will not be abolished at least until middle 2013 and is highly unlikely to be...

These are the rules for settlement for workers (5 years) which introduced this spring. 10 years will not change at least in 2012, first half 2013. Probably won't change even then. Search this forum. There were requests submitted by people to the Home Office via Freedom of Information act if the rule...

2.)Total visa time is strictly reduced and nobody can get permanent settlement in UK on student visa in any case. Seems like this in most cases. However, in some cases, some people will still manage to live for 10 years legal stay required for ILR. In one of their examples, they show it's possible ...

Well, even if this person get's this visa this way, then he/she will be working illegally in UK because he is allowed only to run his/her own business. Then if he/she is caught it can lead to 10 years ban which will also apply to other EU countries and US/Canada/Australia/NZ, etc. because they share...

By the way, there was no option to select No for premium.

Probably because it is not available for this type of visa.

I think it automatically treats it as biometric only.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Hi I just received biometrics letter and went to book an appointment online. I have to choose different options in the form, type of application. I am applying in Tier 1 Entrepreneur.
