World does not end on UK. If you did hardwork in previous 8 years, either earning education or money, you can move to some other developed country. If you just waste time and money here and there, its your fault, but still you can make fresh start in some other country.
Could not agree more. :D

I don't think they will treat anything except PHD as academic progression after MBA. It looks like you want to get course to stay here and work. I think UKBA must be really stupid to continue to allow to study on accountant courses for ages to obtain legal stay... I'm sorry, but what sort of MBA is ...

This is not abuse, this is just my personal opinion. I don't think Britain will remain tolerant society if it will allow to stay those who break immigration laws and try to find loopholes all the time.

Hi I also in almost similar situation as you are but my brother is younger than yours. There are very limited options now for immigration to UK. If you earn 75K and maybe also you or your brother have some investments, why not use Entrepreneur route? And if your brother find a partner who has 100K, ...

Got visa today! So statement was enough (without stamp, etc.). I can't agree with you, Silverline. I find people in UKBA not very focused sometimes but generally very good professionals. With regards to Natwest, I find them pretty good on customer services level. They could not provide me with any g...

I sent my application by Special Delivery on 9th January. Applied from UK, all funds were in UK bank. :D

These comments are a complete misdirection, I'm sorry to say. I did not realize it. Seems like quite easy question. Person needs to understand what form of letter to send and can't find it in the guidance. Must he only go to solicitor and pay him money for it? No other way to find it out? I found t...

Why not call UKBA and/or write them an email. If I were you, I would do both. The answer to email can take several days and it can not answer all concerns. So try to call them. Make a list of all questions and call them, there is tel, number on the website in contact area. You usually have to wait o...

Guys, if you apply from UK and have all funds in UK bank on your personal account, then you only need to send standard bank statement, correct?

Cheers.

did you apply inside UK ? Does delay relate to something wrong with the documents ?? I applied inside UK. It's not really a delay yet because if I receive it this week or next week, it would be in line with processing times more or less. I don't have any problems with documents, at least so far, I ...

I applied 18 th Jan .. took biometric on 31st Jan. I applied on 10 January. Still waiting. I hope it will arrive soon. But after reading other posts I'm not so sure. I think they mean that it is about 4 weeks for 75% after timeline given in processing times. But then you should have received it (I ...

No, I haven't received it yet. But I expect to receive it very soon. I find it very strange that you applied half a year ago and still no visa. When did you pass biometrics? Did you apply from inside or outside UK? If you applied from inside UK, you should have received it, based on processing times...

Well, if you want to go to your home country, just go... why leave message here at all? Everybody had to wait... more or less. I've been waiting from UKBA for ages... I don't know what your home country is. If I was from USA or Switzerland, I would never wait for any visas anywhere...

Hi Most of the wait is for biometrics invitation letter. I've been waiting for it for about 5-6 weeks! Then you need to book appointment. I applied for this visa about 2 months ago, attended biometrics about a week ago. I think they will review my application during this week. They process this visa...

Very bad immigration consultants you contacted... you need to pass biometrics every time you apply for visa which require them.

Even if you passed them many times already. They say they do it to double check your identity. Check UKBA website, there is info there.

I can confirm that the Government has not proposed changes to the current 10 year long residence rules and they remain in force. You may be interested to note that the Government is, as part of its wider review of the immigration system, reviewing the 14 year long residency rule. The 14 year rule c...
