Well if there are no changes made to the Immigration rules then you may have a chance to apply for ILR using the 10 year long residency rule, however the Govt is eyeing this scheme and will take measures to make things difficult, so just wait and watch. bobobo, when you make such claims, please pro...

I was self-employed already, do I need to register company?

Hi I recently got Entrepreneur visa. I was already registered as self-employed for several years. It's enough for me to run business. I wonder, do I need to register Ltd company within 6 months or somehow re-register as self-employed? Or is it enough that I was registered already and I don't need to...

I have spoken to solicitor who was advised us to apply for a civil partnership which we have done but i don't know what will happen next. I'm aware that this could take years and really the only option he has is to go back to his country and re-apply to come back to the UK but i'm scared they won't...

We were considering going back to Nigeria and i'd stay with him until we were able to come back to the UK. Don't go to Nigeria. If he will need to go to Nigeria, he will understand why you don't want to go. It's much better for you and your baby to stay in UK. If you have real love, even if he goes...

I apologize for this definition. I edited my message. I did not mean you personally. I don't know you and have no idea what your intention. I confused your topic with different topic.

Anyway, I said my opinion about ACCA-PSW already. Good luck! :)

My friend i think you should also know that there is a law which probates you from putting baseless allegations /accusations I am not your friend. Why did you decide that I refer to you? I said "some people". There was no accusation of anyone. Why did you decide that you're in this group of people ...

Not all students have the luxury of working more than 20 hours in order to fund appeals and pay lawyers. Exactly. That's why I would not advice trying to get PSW for ACCA. i appreciate you are concerned for students finances BUT MY FAMILY IS FINANCING MY CASE NOT me and yeah am lucky that half of m...

I think it is not slow comparing to other countries. In USA it often takes longer. In UK, it is sometimes slow, sometimes fast. I noticed when conservatives won election it was very fast for first year, then it's getting slower and slower. Probably because of cuts. I think it is slow in all countrie...

They usually don't even look at your application when they debit account. Usually the nearest time they will look at your application is 1-2 weeks time away from the date they debited your account.

Greenie, it looks like there are some people who are desperate to get PSW by any means possible.

I think this strategy could very easily lead to false deception and ban of 10 years.

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks very much like it.

You need to provide cover letter with you application, explain your situation in it and provide some hard evidence from the bank, like letter from the bank about it. I would treat it very seriously because there are many people who were refused visas because of maintenance funds.

There is no hard evidence that anybody for visas after PSW. There was some blog which is closed now. If you apply for visa, yo...

I think the fact that you did not put this number is not bad on its own. If they find out about work, this is what is bad. It looks like you're not burden to the state of any sort, so you deserve to get visa. However, UKBA is not always that wise. But don't worry too much, there is an appeal in any ...

And if they find out, they may treat it as "false deception" which will lead to a 10 years ban from UK! And potentially EU and British Commonwealth countries because they share common database.

I would not apply for PSW based on ACCA. Looks very dodgy.

And if your visa would be refused, and it could be refused even based on false deception, you can be banned from UK for 10 years. And also EU/US/Canada/Australia/New Zealand...

Looks very unreliable and risky...

That's why they describe on the website how to withdraw application. Somebody wrote here that he withdrew it and ...

It's hard to say for sure if it will affect your application or not.

Immigration solicitor could look into your case in details before submitting application.

However, be careful when choosing solicitor. Check that they have good accreditations.

Good luck :)
