Re: UK Standard Visit Visa Application Submitted - Cochin, I

I don't believe thats the case. But if your parents\mother are staying in the UK every year for 4 months, then I'm sure the ECO will see this as residing, rather than visiting. Just be careful of that. Thanks for the tip regarding medical insurance, I have taken out medical insurance already and sub...

Re: UK Standard Visit Visa Application Submitted - Cochin, I

So my in-laws went today to Cochin to submit their applications, all relatively straight forward. Just a couple of points, they won’t allow you to take in any bags and there is no place to store them (So they just left it outside and it was there when there returned luckily). The people who were col...

Re: How much money do I need in bank account to sponser pare

Hi Vignesh, thanks for the reply, I just thought the ECO might find it a bit presumptuous that your taking out insurance before they've actually given you the visa. I can understand if your putting the quote in, but it didn't seem to harm your case. Yes my in laws are from South India, I will have a...

Re: How much money do I need in bank account to sponser pare

Hi Vignesh,

Regarding the travel insurance, do you mean to take out the travel insurance before receiving the Visa, is that a good idea? Is that what people have done previously?

Thanks

Re: Visitor Visa for in-laws

Again I can't answer that, a monthly income showing steady credits. The ECO won't like it if there is a large deposit out of the blue, especially close to when your applying.

If your sponsoring them it should be ok.

Re: Parent Visit Visa UK

Maybe start getting your brother to tranfer the money into their account, rather than cash. Or maybe provide evidence that your brother looks after your parents financially.
