Hi I have registered as myself, and i think if they are applying for themselves then they need to create there own account and choose yourself. But if you are aplying for them, then your accoutn is fien and you choose on someone elses behalf. This is what i will be doing...Be nice to get some clarif...

Maybe start getting your brother to tranfer the money into their account, rather than cash. Or maybe provide evidence that your brother looks after your parents financially.

I don't think there is a fixed amount, just to show there is regular income in that period.
Also I don't think money in Fixed Interest account counts either, as the money cannot be accessed straight away. Its the ties to return back home you must prove also. Hope this helps.

Hi Ash I'm no expert, but I too am applying for my in laws to come from India, You can possibly apply at the same time, but you'll be risking it a bit i think. The Visa lasts for 6 months, so if he is staying for only 1/2 weeks then i may be fine, but will be at your own risk. Taken from the goverme...
