Re: Second FLR (M) - Financial Confusion

Your and your husbands combined income is £800+440 =1240pm x 12 months =£14880.(OT is allowed by the way) This is £3720 short of the £18600 requirements. You can makeup the shortfall from any savings you have. To work out savings is like this ......£3720 x2.5 +16000 = £25300 You need savings of £253...

Re: Refusal of U.K. visitor visa: need help

You need concrete evidence that your widowed mother will return back home after visit. Unfortunately the evidence you have provided is not good enough to convince the ECO that she will return. She lives with her son In India and has a mere 1.5 Lakh Rupees( £1000 ?)in her account. That in my opinion is...

Re: Timescale for priority service

Priority service was taking on average 7-10 days when it was first introduced. However due heavy demand for this service , the time delays have been extended. In some cases and countries (Pakistan) its taking over 6-8 weeks on average. Another reason is the cutbacks and staff shortage at UKBA which ...

Only send messages that are important to prove relationship for application. No useless chit chats. The ECO doesn't have enough to read more than just a few of them.

Re: help. Can someone decipher what this means?

Looks like the ECM was not satisfied with original decision by the ECO and hence Appeal withdrawn.
ECO will have to look at it again, which may be good news for you in getting your visa

Re: How to divorce spouse from Pakistan, in uk?

If yo are going to get remarried to someone in UK, then only Islamic nikkah will suffice and tehre is no need for a UK divorce because the Islamic nikkah is not recognised a valid marriage in UK, but is for visa purposes only. However if you intend to remarry someone from abroad, then a UK as well a...

@noajthan, it is friends wife whose name is on tenancy. OP, all you need is a letter stating that your wife will be permitted to reside in the property with you and that they have no objection. Oops, thanks CR001 - didn't mean to mix the wives up. Still not convinced a survey is mandatory in such c...

Re: Accommodation Requirement Question Spouse Visa India

In my opinion you would be better to show a post dated Tenancy agreement for a rented property, which will confirm accommodation will be available when your spouse arrives in the UK,rather than stay in a friends house.

Re: Fluctuations in cash savings

Its just not £16000 unfortunately.

If you earn say £15000 per annum. You are 3600 short of requirement

3600 x 2.5 = 9000 + 16000 = £25000

You will need £25,000 (NOT JUST 16,000) in saving in your bank for a period no less than 6 months prior to your application FOR IT TO SUCCEED

Hope this helps

There is a shortage of Adjudicators at the moment to deal with the large amount of Appeals lodged by applicants. This means lengthy delays, some even delayed by upto 12 months. If people who can prove their refusals, maybe they should consider reapplying again....just a thought !!!.

No she is not as well and wont be until a full UK divorce takes place and a Decree Absolute is obtained. Only after A DA is issued can a person legally remarry someone else.Any Islamic marriage or divorce is not acceptable in teh UK.

She went back to India in Jan-2016 and we are now applying for her settlement visa. I have the following queries: 1...
