There is no harm in you and your brother being joint sponsors of your parents application for a visitors visa. Just write a joint letter explaining why you want your parents to come here. You can take the application form to your nearest DVLA office with your hubbys passport and some other ID, and an officer from there will be able to sign it and confirm that your hubby is who he says he is. I did this with my son in laws application and it worked. I would have thought if your friend...

Takes on average 6-8 weeks after the determination is recieved by the BHC in the country you applied.

I sent a copy of the decision via email to the BHC,just to make sure they have got it. Keep pestering them via email on a weekly basis

I think what they mean by 12 weeks is that when your husband applys for a visa, you have o provide at least 3 months (12 weeks ) wage slips. To do that you have to be in the Uk and working. Beside the wage slips you also have to show proof of savings and accomadation. If you read some of the comment...

Hi Tkhan I think there is no harm in you trying to clear the matters up by way of completing the AIT2 (appeal form) explaining why you feel the decision made by the ECO is not in accordance with the immigration rules. Send them the missing documents. What will happen when they recieve the notice (ps...

Today my nieces husband phoned us to say that the BHC in Islamabad have finally issued him a visa after he won his appeal on 9/5/08. It has taken a total of 9 months since he applied for settlement visa which was initially refused back in August 2007. We successfully appealed against the 5/6 reasons...

The " Call letter " basically means bring your passport to Fedex or BHC to have it stamped with the visa.

BHC might call you in for interview if they suspect something has changed since the appeal decision was made, but in most cases its the first one

The reasons given for your refusals can easily be put right, as you have already stated. Didnt you point this out, and sent the documents when you appealed?. I suppose there is no harm writting the BHC explaining this. You never know they might change their minds. I personally would still stick to t...

No. The english version is only a translation of the Urdu one.

The Urdu one is the official document.

Obviously if you live in the UK,you will need to provide a translated version to government officials, because most of them will not understand the Urdu version.

If you have the money, then re-apply again, but there is a good chance that you can be refused again, thats another £515+ down the drain. I think we need to know the reasons why you were initially refused. If its something simple and easy to prove, then why appeal?. If you really cocked your first ...

Just because the document is incorrect does not mean you are not lawfully married. If you have gone through an Islamic nikah namma , then in law you are legally married. If the marriage doc is incorrect, you shoud be able to get another one from the union council. You can download a copy of nikah nam...

The 19 weeks is only a guidance. It takes longer than that, sometimes as much as 6/7 months before the appeal haering. You will get notification of appeal about 6 weeks before it is actually heard.
