Re: ILR - Tier 1 Gen- Short absences of personal nature?????

Didnt understand what u want, but where does it say it did not allow you to go holidays and meet ur relatives friends? You have to provide reasons for the absense and if you go and meet ur relatives for short time, you need to mention as holidays work approved. Hi I was referring to their wording.....

I see, does this mean the child would get ILR after 5 years in the UK, as would be the case with the other parent?

Thanks, In this case, one parent has got ILR (after being on Tier 1 Gen), the other parent and a child (under 5) are applying from abroad. Would the child get ILE or a limited visa?

Children can apply for ILE from abroad but I am not sure if there is an age limit. Have a look at the thread in link below

ILR - Tier 1 Gen- Short absences of personal nature?????????

Hi all, I went through the guidance "Indefinite leave to remain – calculating continuous period in UK" and found these requirements somewhat not very clear about short absences outside the UK if the applicant is applying on the basis of having held Tier 1 General visa. I quote 2 paragarphs from the ...

Out of country ILR application for child of UKsettled person

Hi,

Please could someone advise can a person holding ILR (after spending 5 years on Tier 1 General) bring their children under 18 years old (born abroad) straight away on ILR? Or are they issued limited visa just like in spouse/partner case?

thanks

Tier 1 Gen....3+3 years???????????

Hi all I got my Tier 1 Gen in Jan 10 for 3 years. I applied for extension in Jan 13 and got another 3 years. I think it should have been 3 + 2. I have recently noticed that on my BRP when I needed it for something. Please advise whether I should report it to UKBA or is it normal for them to do this?...

Hi, As Univisas were a big firm of solicitors ( as they claimed to be), there were loads of different types of immigration matters (students, hsmp, igs, visit, settlement etc and etc) they were dealing for, I guess, thousands of clients. I have these updates on that case. Currently, Harm & Complianc...

All I can suggest is that you get a copy of your file by making a Subject Access Request: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/navigation/foi/ Did you qualify for HSMP, or did univisas "add" information? Regards Thanx PP! I qualify for HSMP. I had claimed 80 points infact. I still do not know on what ...

Hi, Thanks for your interest. I applied HSMP through UNIVISAS and was refused (on reasons which i still don;t know as I have not seen my refusal letter or documents because they were still at Univisa office when it was sealed and closed by the authorities). All the papers, passports and educational ...

Hi all,

Does anyone have information re Univisas (Immigration Consultants) case.?

Any updates on that would be appreciated as there is no information being provided or queries answered clearly by UKBA.
