Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Hello everyone Hope you guys are doing great and have started your jobs. I am about to submit my application. The bank statement I have for maintenance funds does not have the bank telephone number that can be called in case statement verification is needed. I checked with my bank and they said they only have 0800 number for this sort of verification. Do I need to provide that number on a separate paper? Al...

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Sech, one more question.

You might have mentioned that the Cos will take 2-3 weeks to be issued. or does it vary from HR to HR? My department set the start date as Sept 1. Is that too soon given I haven't received the CoS yet?

Thanks much

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Sure Cr001. my apologies, although the said person is a nobel laureate and a public figure and its part of the Royal Society's mandate to facilitate scientist immigration. The issue has been discussed in Nature for instance and former presidents have argued that they fought to bring 1000 Tier 1 visa...

Thank you Sech. That was very helpful. I appreciate it. Did you hire a lawyer too? Any point submitting a CV and copies of publications? I have degrees from 3 continents, and all 3 in completely different fields. The MA from UK should satisfy english language requirements but I am not sure if I shou...

Re: TIER2 new visa police registration - help needed

omg, I am new to this Tier 2. The last time I visited UK in 2005 as student no registration was required. When did this police registration start? Sounds like a gulag. Unbelievable breach of human rights.

duration of job offer

Hi, I have a job offer for a year from a University. They are willing to sponsor for Tier 2. Since their current confirmed funding is for a year therefore the job offer is for a year right now. I want to know if the offer of just 1 year effects the Tier 2 application. I have had visit visa refusals ...
