who is they here pls?> UKVCAS or HO?

appreciate, ideally I need a passport, but given I hv already applied without one, what can i do now so that wife can get pass UKVCAS as the Bio metric card also expired now.

pls let me know any idea/suggestions.

any input on the above pls? also if none of the original docs are submitted, how will HO verify the validity of the docs? does it open itself for fraud as you can easily amend stuff? may be they do internal verifications. just also concerned they did not ask for Marriage ceritificate to be submitted...

the problem I have is the 'valid passport', as posted before her passport has expired, so do UKVACS check and can they reject the biometric or do they do this regardless and leave it only for case worker to decide ?

ok, so renewing the passport while I wait for a slot is out of the questions then.

I hv pretty much all the docs now and hopefully before too long we will get a slot.

if they are processing only those in May for now, reasonable to assume, we are not gonna have a slot for next two months ?

thanks all, I hv now made the application as usual on the last day of visa expirty...

now the page tell me I hv 6 months to book an appointment, but I am keen to get this done asap.

but no avaiabulity closer to where we are...is that normal ? should I keel checking ? any other alternatives ?

b) and c) is preferred but not needed....so the only remaining item is the age-old one.

do the bank statement needs to be on official papers with stamp etc?

a) do the bank statements on official headed papers or online pdf is fine?
b) Do I need a letter from the estate agent in addition to tenancy agreement
c) the online application portal also tells us to attach 'evidence of housing costs' - what shall I attach for this?

well, but it is also possible for passports to expire...so I take it nobody has been rejected just because of that.

we were just being positive that no issues with her BC, so renewing the passport seemed like a lot of trouble for not much benefit.

hello Zimba, We simply did not have a need to renew passport also renewing passport from the UK is not straightforward. also, there was an issue with the name that is supposed to appear in the passport. and we thought it is not needed as her case is fairly straightforward so she might well as get a ...
