Extension of time to give biometrics?

Does anyone know if you can be granted an extension of time to give your biometrics for an EEA national applying for PR, who has to urgently travel abroad. It's likely that the letter will come whilst shes away and she wont be back in the specified time to do it.

Bereavement Spouse Visa

Just to confirm the exact wording: You applied for LTR under Appendix FM-5 year partner route. We consider under GEN3.2 that there are exceptional circumstances which would render refusal a breach of Article 8, taking into account the helath of your partner. Accrodingly you have been granted a perio...

Re: Pension Income

Hello CR001 and everyone
Just to report back on this one, the lady was granted 2.5 year visa on 10 year route as a partner under GEN 3.2.

Just wanted to confirm whether she could still apply under this route for the bereavement spouse visa if anything happens?

Re: when is the best time to apply for BC

Thank you Hstepper, you are right, they were married on 8 March 2008.
So would it be safe to apply now or would you advise to wait until October which is when the RC was issued.
Is there anything extra to add to support the application if he applies now?

when is the best time to apply for BC

Advice required please for a friend:- The Home Office initially refused BC stating his status was illegal in the UK before he was granted a 5yr Residence card in October 2008, so therefore any application submitted before 8 March 2018 is likely to be refused. So should he apply after 8 March 2018 or...

Re: Best Way to obtain settlement

Not so much refusing but just being unable to do what’s required. She’s unable to register her birth certificate at the registry office - can’t get through to book an appointment, she’s been told that if you go there in person they only admit the first ten people in the queue. It’s a nightmare of a ...

Is there anyway possible...

Re: which visa to apply for

Thanks vinny
I suppose the ideal way would be for them to apply set m together

As there’s roughly a month in between father’s 5 year period and daughters 4 year visa expiring - if they both apply on set M - the daughter would not have had 5 years in the UK so would this be permitted?

Re: Pension Income

Thanks CR001 but she wants to try at least to obtain a spouse visa so that she can remain after he passes away I believe on the bereavement spouse visa?

Is only one bank statement sufficient?
Also the DWP state pension letter is dated March 2017, is this too old?

I’ve read through but just not too sure on a couple of things
Is only one bank statement sufficient?
Also the DWP state pension letter is dated March 2017, is this too old
It seems the supporting documents are not many which seems quite strange- either that or I’m reading it wrong 😬

Re: Best Way to obtain settlement

Sorry Simon I forgot to add that her husband was an Italian national but when they came to the UK in 1982 and remained here since I suspect he would’ve acquired PR before his death in 2001.

Does this mean she’s already got PR?
