Re: Are we leaving the EU?

Way off the subject last few posts. I didnt insult anyone and millions of people just like myself and my wife have the right to be here. What am inclining is that we r here legally we pay our taxes and we support the british economy and society. Now am sure thousands in britain like us do the same. ...

Re: Are we leaving the EU?

As an Eea resident with my wife and both working with not a single penny from the gov we both totally support the fact that illegals and benefit thieves should be tracked down. Borders should be controlled as well as it is not fair on britain the amount of influx even from other advanced eu countrie...

Are we leaving the EU?

So the UKIP won the debate yesterday. Obviously and rightfully they wanna be in control of their borders. Coming from a noneu EEA family member who has been in the uk for 7 yrs i have an urge to ask.. What will happen if the UK leaves the EU? What will happen to us? Europeans and their family member...

Early eea pr?

Been here for 7 yrs. wife is eu am not. Got the first 5 yrs as wife was selfemployed. On eea3/4 application 5 yrs later we were refused due to not sufficient evidence and we failed the appeal via solicitor. Then we got another 5 yrs via self sufficience route with sickness insurance in place and my ...

Re: Residence Card on A4 Sheet of Paper

So complain, spend another fee on the application and put your and your familys holidays on hold just to get the sticker in the passport rather than having it on a piece of paper?

Re: Residence Card on A4 Sheet of Paper

Well i find it annoying because it is unconventional and many different people that you have to deal with, mostly with no common sense, will ask alot of questions about this matter. I applied with a valid passport for eea2, i havent asked for the pass and didnt make a singke phone call to the HO. I h...

Re: Shockin refusal of PR (EEA FAMILY MEMBER)

Personally i think they are good enough. In the end if the revenue and customs institution say you are self employed, then you are self employed. HO argument was that we didnt provide enough evindence. Stating business statement and receipts. Most importantly apparently you need to show that you hav...

Re: Shockin refusal of PR (EEA FAMILY MEMBER)

Hello mate. Sorry i have posted somewhere else. Basically appeal was refused on the basis of not enough self employment evidence. We didnt really want to proceed with higher tribunal. Therefore we reapplied for another eea1/2 on the basis of self sufficiency (we did a CSI once we got the PR refusal)...

Re: 3 Months gap in claiming Treaty Rights?

Well my friend had a similar case. He is noneu wife is eu. She had a 3 months gap in employment. Sent for eea3/4 without CSI. Home office sent application back explaining that he needed a CSI. so he bought a CSI (obviously from the application date-ie not being covered back to the 3 months of gap) a...

Re: EEA national self sufficient: UKBA response

Well this topic scares self sufficient applicants a bit. We have been here for over 6 yrs initially stayed on eea2 as a family member of a self employed eu citizen. Failed our permanent due to lack of evidence if self employment. S we swiftly got a CSI and applied for another eea2. In the cover lett...

Do not be confused from the UKBA team reply which has actually been taken from Guidance - Bulgarian and Romanian casework - yellow registration certificate - version 3.0 (page 35-37). For other EEA national refer the following guideline and read carefully the Assessing sufficient resources (page 31...

I still cant see how this fots on the eea1/2 application. They want the current status. Like in my (noneu) and wifes situation, we have been here for 6 yrs. we are reapplying for eea1/2 5 yrs extension. My wife was self employed and stopped like a year a go then later on we got the CSI and because w...

The dilemma is that there is mention that whether the noneu started working in uk and eu is being supported of noneu and being deemed self suff. Obviosuly i cant find another self suff explaination for this and it shoukd be like that. Again i have to say that on the eea application they ask to provi...

In assessing whether there are “sufficient financial resources”, the Regulations do not specify where those resources must come from, but they must have been legally derived. So, for example, an EEA national could rely on financial support from their non-EEA spouse or civil partner. However, if the...

17. Accordingly, as is accepted on behalf of both parties, if during the period when he was not working, and not seeking work, the appellant's husband was "self-sufficient" he would still be exercising treaty rights in this country. However, as I pointed out to the parties during the course of the ...
