As far as i know if you are not employed/self employed and want to exercise eu rights as a self sufficient or a student then a comp sick cover is a muat for the eu national and all dependant family.

My friend had a familiar thingy going on. They the UKBA told him that his wife (eu national) should have had a comprehensive sickness insurance during her gap. They then bought one and resent their documents and it was fine they got the prs. Weird thing abt it is that the cover was feom a later date...

Well, she is gonna be studying hence i want the proper status. With self sufficient is it that straightforward? I mean dont you have to show that she has got a big amount of income coming to her from somewhere? What are the requirements?

yes u provide all them documents that you mentioned, still as a self employed u have to be ECONOMICALLY ACTIVE. hence we provided all of them (except for a business account statement - which is not a necessity for SE), but still we were refused. on further research thru my solicitor it shows that 70...

Yes (my wife) does (am a family member). On average she works more than 16 hrs a week. Is 12 hrs the legal standard? And she does get paid yes.
