In the above link you provided, the person was speaking of not able to combine Tier1 dependent + FLR.. Is that true?

I thought the dependent visa can be a combination.
Hope FLR won't reset the period of stay as a Tier1 dependent?

I have to travel for more than two months expected by Oct-Nov (or sometimes earlier) for giving training to my off-shore team.
