I've seen somewhere that those who fail life in the UK test will not be eligible for ILR.. not even second chance.
Is that valid for existing Tier1/WP people?

ILR: Dependent less than 2 years in the UK

Friends, I've seen various flavors of this query, but still like to have confirmation due to individual circumstances I'll complete 5 years in 2012 June. But my wife will complete 2 years only in October 2012. Currently I'm in Tier1 and my wife is dependent. We have T1 extension till Feb2013. Querie...

Hi Sojan, Congrats. Did you booked biometric interview through phone or Web. I heard it is difficult to get appointment in London Corydon office. I am waiting for biometric invitation. Thanks for posting you timelines. I see that you provided your biometric at PEO Croydon office - is that because you could not provide biometric using the post office service or just cause Croydon was more convenient for you? Just asking as I have also applied for T1 extension on Feb 15 with my wif...

Re: @sojan

Thanks for sharing the information. When you filled the extension form, it asks you to provide the biometric details. I assume since your previous tier1 visa was issued when this biometric work permit did not exist, you left that section blank? Can you please confirm this, as I am in a similar situ...

there is a lot of confusion here about ILR process. I don't understand why are people applying for early extension (2 years) in some cases. What are you trying to achieve? All you are doing is wasting your money and worrying over nothing. My ILR is due in 2012 and to be honest I am not a single bit...

My personal opinion is T1G as such might not come again (in next couple of years atleast), but have to see how the situation of economy goes and the unemployment figure moves. Few things which you could follow 1. Watch how they are planning for student route. It's a very political/economical challen...

Just got a news from my friend..
he enrolled for biometrics from post office.. charged 16GBP per person, but easier way of giving rather than waiting for PEO's

only worrying thing is how safe are the details with post office.
