Sorry I meant time spent while going through court of appeal is not counted towards 10 years. It stops at upper trib .any expert opinions will b appreciated.

Hi the same thing happened with my friend yesterday. They say fca don't show the vc is registered . And any future applications may n refused under 370 etc. i think if someone submit fake document , they don't get right of appeal, then how come they gave right of appeal?

when are you hitting 10 years? i think you should try for student at highly t college and even if they refuse u , u can win in JR.

I think u r lucky bcoz they took 1 year to decide UR application. In my case they rejected my appl in 4 weeks however I got slightly longer appeal date of nearly 10 months. hi, achilies, I think u have almost made it, because if your hearing is in 0ct, by the time you will receive your hearing outcome it will be nov. you can make a fresh application within 28 days which will make u to dec. and since you can apply 28 days before completing 10 years. it will mean you sti...

hi, why don't you go for appeal if your case is a strong one, you have to appeal in 10 working days or make a fresh application within 28 days.

The motive is clear, taking some time to completing 10 years....its quite common motive nowadays specially if someone needs only a few months to complete his 10 years

Smarty, as I mentioned , my friend got ILR only this week while I discussed it with my solicitor 2 weeks ago. first he said its not counted but when I said my friend already applied through xyz solicitor then he said yes there is precedent and it can be counted. so it means even he was not too sure,...

yessss and that's what amazing. because most people think that's time spent under JR is not counted towards 10 year long residency. however my friend withdrew his application for JR just a week before hearing because his 10 years just got completed. so he actually spent 8 months or so while waiting ...

I also applied in august and got refused end of aug, appealed to tribunal but have not even got hearing date yet. how did you got hearing date so quickly since my solicitor says we are looking at around May etc for hearing and also fear that HO ay withdraw appeal.
