Re: Tier 2 Visa

Hi SS,

Even if you apply for 5 Years visa now, HO will make sure your total stay in Tier 2 not go beyond 6 years. They will put expiry date on your visa accordingly. However, you may be eligible for ILR after 5 years. I hope this will help.

Thanks,

Hi Hassan, He can apply straightaway as soon as his employer gets the license provided they also applied for unrestricted Cos allocation for him (they can apply for cos allocation later as well and this does not take long maximum 4 weeks). He can apply within UK. The employer does not need to wait f...

Re: April 2014 - Minimum NQF Level 6 COP - ONLY???

Hi Tallat, No RLMT needed if this is the case of extension of visa in the same job. They can conduct RLMT just in case if you are applying for a fresh Tier 2 leave but this will involve a job and salary at NQF level 6 and will involve complexities like choosing the right SOC code at NQF level 6 for ...

Hi Kuman, Your dependant suppose to live with you in the UK as on the basis of this she qualified for dependent visa. Regarding her work, she is only eligible to work until yours/her visa expiry date. Your leave might have been curtailed by now for 60 days only. If it has been done then check what i...

Tallat, If your company sort our their sponsorship before your visa expiry i.e. 17th May then you can apply with NQF 4 as your visa will be the case of "Extension in the current job". You can have additional 28 days to make an application as 28 days out of time applications are considered in the nor...

Re: April 2014 - Minimum NQF Level 6 COP - ONLY???

The salary should be either minimum 20,500 or the relevant appropriate pay for the chosen SOC code (whichever is higher). For example: if the relevant salary for your job code is 18K then you should be paid £20,500. And if the relevant salary of your job is for example 25K then you should be paid £2...

Re: Help plz?? (Applying for visit visa for my mum)

Hi Hassan, I believe the amount £4400 should be sufficient if she is coming for one month on her initial visit. Obviously, it will be ace if she attaches return ticket with her application but drawback is if (God Forbid) her application gets refused then she will not might get full refund of the air...

Re: Tier 2 Application payment receipt needed

Hi Syed,

I am not sure which HO e-mail address to be used in this regard. You can find it on their website but they usually tend to reply little late.

The best option would be to contact worldpay and ask for the e-mail again. They might be quicker.

Thanks,
Hassan

Re: Tier 2 Application payment receipt needed

Hi Syed, If you had applied online and paid online then you must have received worldpay e-mail confirming the deducted amount which can be used to reimbursed your amount. Alternatively, you can show this transaction to your company on your bank statement or you can also e-mail HO to e-mail you the i...

Hi Gaurav, Minimum salary is $20,300 at the moment and will be £20,500 if your COS will be assigned after 6th April, 2014. You can only claim points for appropriate salary if your salary is whether the above amount or the appropriate salary for your chosen SOC job code (whichever higher). For exampl...

Re: Urgent - Do I need new offer letter for Tier 2 General V

Hi Dinakaranjd, Yes, you will need to use the nearest job code. Its job description which should closely match with the SOC not the job title. SharePoint is sort of website (collaboration website) as well so if job description closely matches with this code then you can go for it. I reckon title "Sh...

Re: Help plz?? (Applying for visit visa for my mum)

Hi Hasan, I think it should be fine for her to get a visa. What will be the duration of her visit? I mean to say if she is coming to UK for a month or 2 then £4400 is sufficient but if she is planning to come (initial visit) for longer period like 5 months then this amount might not be sufficient (e...

Hi Anoop, Are you not sure about the start date? Have they not given you the print out of the COS? Anyway, you can also ask your HR department to call HO Sponsor helpline to check when the latest you can apply to extend your visa provided that you apply within the three months validity of the Cos. Re: Applying for Dependant extension after main applicant

Hi Anoop, Answers to your questions are: 1) You can apply now or within 3 months of the issue date of your COS. If I understand correctly this is change of employment scenario (not the extension with the current employer)? Current visa expiry date doesn't affect your new applications. You don't need...

Hi Rajsin,
Just an add to my previous post, the amount I mentioned is for Students not for other PBS migrant like tier 2. But you can still work around with this amount and held required fund for adequate amount of time.

You may be eligible for a reduced salary (new entrant) if you are under 26 at the time of making Tier 2 application otherwise you will have t...

Re: Urgent - Do I need new offer letter for Tier 2 General V

Hi Dinakaranjd, You need a restrictive COS and will have to apply from Outside UK as you are currently on TIER 1 PSW DEPENDENT VISA. The "dependent" word might have been overlooked by Apam and iworker. Don't Panic and Confuse as your case seems straight forward. Your Employer had already conducted R...
