Usually they send acknowledgement through normal post . I only got my approval by registered post . You can contact inis .

Yes . She and her children need separate re entry visa . They need to fill separate form . If she's looking for multi re entry visa she'll get it for the duration of her passport but the kids will get re entry visa for 1 year only .

It took exactly 6 months for me. Some ppl I know got it 8 months. It's 6-8 months waiting average. One of friend applied 4 weeks back with new Irish parentage form haven't yet received acknowledgement. Not sure new form and procedure made the whole process slow or not ?

You can open account with AIB . They only ask for photo ID and account applicant name on utility bill as proof of address. Hope it helps.

For a 6 months old child, there should be a presumption that he/she is dependent on their mum to meet their essential need. Had you been a father, then that requirement would have been appropriate. something along the lines of that you are a nuclear family, (i.e if u and your husband are together) and you visit the clinic individually with your child and sometimes altogether, that they (doctors) have known you for xx long, and can vouch for your local residence. etc etc just a suggestion...
