Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

If there is a consensus on this thread, can I suggest that the moderators move the posts on this thread (apart from one linking to the other thread) about appropriate conduct to be moved to the thread that I have created? This thread can then revert to its primary purpose of being a discussion spac...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Everyone please , Let's not go off topic Some things that I want to clear up : I understand why the mods would want the timeline thread to be timeline only - As the title suggests , Its for timelines only right . BUT People would continue to have discussions there (As we saw earlier , Even though CA...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi guys This thread can be used for discussing any EEA2 EFM OR FM application that you have made. I saw one of the moderators freaking out on the timeline thread and now it has been locked . So let that thread be timeline only, you can have any discussions on here. Discussions are different from que...

@Inadilemma : Technically you get to decide how you want to conduct yourself in your marriage. So yeah , it is. BUT they can easily claim that your marriage is one of convenience and technically it will be , Because you're considering divorcing her now - And because youre scared you'll loose your st...

Re: Non EEA national apply for RC, lawyer or no lawyer?

No lawyer is the best choice if your application is straight forward , which it is .

Guidance is available in plenty , Educate yourself here . Be organised and submit a very well formed application , It will only cost you £65+£20 = £85.

A lawyer would cost you around £1000 +

Be wise :)

Re: EEA unmarried spouse .... Help

People always put you down for no reason . This is why I don't listen to advice from some random strangers in this forum.
It's just an opinion that he had , which was flawed. But nevertheless an opinion.

Re: Spouse visa - intention to live together

Regardless of whether your parents know it or not , No religion says that you can't sleep together after marriage . Regardless of what you think of it , if you're getting married it should be a marriage. You have to understand the seriousness of these things , You can't get away with things by sayin...

Re: Immigration Assistance Services - anyone tried them?

Ok, thanks. My fiancée is Chinese, living in Japan. I have a good job in the UK, but she is finding it hard to learn English (lessons are in Japanese) and she has visa problems. Long story short she overstayed her visa in Japan and has been waiting for a decision from the government for about six y...

If you have retained rights , I suggest you just apply for EEA4 .

You can get your RC exchanged for a BRP .But I think it costs £400 and provides no additional value.

They would keep it , Because you don't need your Tier 4 card anymore if you are issued an EEA RC.

Re: Investigations to verify info

I have seen cases where the HO called the rental agency/landlord to verify information regarding tenancy .

In one such case , the application was rejected because the landlord told the HO that the tenant specifically asked for a 3 month short term let .

Re: Overstayed, but want to marry my girlfriend.

@Casa : You must note that the OP has not told us whether he lives with his partner or not . We do not know of their individual circumstances. And the OP of the thread you mentioned was granted RC after an appeal on May 2014 . This is clear proof to what I said , The HO can say whatever they want , ...
