And if contracting how many clients do you propose to service?
You can't work for one client as a proxy employee on a T1 gig.

@BClassBritish, kindly tone down the anti-HO rant element of your repeated posts as they are unsubstantiated.
And, if substantiated, you would be better off prosecuting your grievances via other channels.

Re: "Date you first entered the UK" for EEA permanent reside

The online process is new, with more mandatory questions.

You can add a cogent supporting cover letter if you think it helps your case.
Caseworker will form her own assessment ofcourse, based on supporting evidence.
So send appropriate supporting evidence as per the PR Guidance.

Re: visa application/refusal/appeal and right to work

My understanding is a COA would not be accepted (by even a diligent employer) after 6 months from its date of issue.
So the above advice appears very prudent.

Re: visa application/refusal/appeal and right to work

But when i submitted my application in november 2015 after my wedding HO sent me a certificate of application and in which it says i can continue my work for the next 6 months until the decision has been made but they refused and given me a right of appeal which i did so in my thinking i will still...

Re: visa application/refusal/appeal and right to work

Solicitor was talking nonsense. If first wife was not a qualified person then none of that time would have counted even towards a LR application. And it wouldn't have helped you qualify for ROR either. If HO dispute second wife is an EEA national (in this context) then they will not confirm a right ...

Re: Naturalisation – spouse of a British citizen

All overstayers? Or it is matter of luck/case worker's mood? What if I include a letter with explanation about that particular period when i'd been waiting for my COA? I wasn't hiding from the HO and they knew where I live, they had all of my documents including the passport. Could this be helpful?...

Re: visa application/refusal/appeal and right to work

This doesn't make sense. If on EU route you don't have any visa. How/why could you apply for ILR if on EU route? Doing so doesn't help with right to work. Why didn't you apply for ROR after first divorce and then continue in own right as qualified person? (Its possible for HO to make enquiries and g...

The website is just edited highlights and does not give the whole picture.

Overstayers do face a ban; as explained in the document, good character is assessed based on various factors and a balance of probabilities is weighed up.

No.
RC is optional although useful.

You have to be a qualified person.
RC simply confirms applicant's status - it doesn't confer it.

Re: PR Online Application - Confusing Student & CSI Question

Why not apply with paper form? You do not choose qualifying period; caseworker reviews application, supporting evidence and decides whether to confirm applicant has acquired PR or not. Wife may have acquired PR as early as 2012. Are you sure wife does not have ILR from back in the day ? Check old pa...
